That's a build issue if they are breaking there. I believe the concensus is these play like X100's if going back to steel.

I play mine at 45' and have a 10g weight in the back so 14g weight seems about right at 44.5'

I have the Player Pro V Vessel bag and it fits perfectly into the Nitron's TopLock feature. This may or may not be helpful info depending on if all the Vessel bags have the same width between their stand legs.
