This is true. And the land that is being used for a new golf course is super exclusive like the Firefly community going up in Spring Hill which does no one outside of that community any good.

The same thing has happened over in Murfreesboro. The Country Club over here went from a $7,500 initiation 5 years ago to $25,000 initiation now which makes sense with how pricey real estate has gotten. We have the same plan as you. Sit around for another 3-5 years with our current house and possibly sell and build a custom home down on Tim’s Ford lake. We are lucky that we bought land down there a few years ago before it became the go to lake for the rich.
