Do you find that the 702 series has a thinner sole than the TC 480s? The article mentions that but seems somewhat unlikely to me.

Question, I'm looking to possibly get a set of Zxi7 with modus 120x and mcc plus 4 midsize grips at 1/4 in over. I'm super sensitive to swing weight and suck when they get heavy. Do you guys think they could get me to D2 with the midsize mcc plus 4s even at 1/4 in over?

If you go back a few pages iping210 answered this question for me. Basically said the differences between each are minimal and probably not significant enough to upgrade.

Full set of irons or just the NLU?

I played 716 AP2s for years and couldn't find anything I got along with until I hit New Level TC 480s. Haven't hit their new clubs yet. Ping BPS is somewhat similar to AP2s. T150s are hotter than AP2s. T100s are smaller than AP2s. If only Titleist would make AP2s again.

I just tried this. Got a quote on a set of srixons within a few hours and the price blew my socks off. They laugh at retail apparently. It was so good I don't even want to say what it was because it feels wrong.

The benefit of the ugly screws is at least in part being able to adjust swing weight. If you can't do that they're both ugly and useless in comparison to the brands that hide the ugliness. It's like ping wants the i240 to fail.
