  1. A few things to consider... I think it all depends on the set you're playing and how you get along with the GW. I have had some sets where the GW didn't suit my eye or have enough spin, and some that work really well and fit the gap between my SW. If you can somehow try them both out on the course that would be ideal. A set GW is generally going to go longer as they don't spin as much as the specialty wedges.
  2. I have an Elyte driver and 11.5 mini in the bag and hit the mini 9/10 tee boxes vs the driver. For me it's way more accurate and only losing about 20 yards on average but staying in play way more. I do like having the driver though for par 5's and long/wide open par 4s, but if I didn't have a spot for both I would just game the mini.. FWIW
  3. What kind of differences were you seeing in launch, spin and distance between the smoke and elyte mini? I have the smoke and LOVE it... bought an Elyte to match my driver and FW and was hoping it would be the same as the smoke but I have also noticed it launches higher. Its still really good though!
  4. I agree with some of the other posts. I would go hit it on a launch monitor without adding any weight to the head. Then add some lead tape to get it to D2/D3 (or whatever you think), and see if it helps/hurts. If you like the added weight, you can order some weights for the head, just take the tape off and put it on a scale to see how heavy. You may end up liking the lower swingweight anyway so it might not matter. Golf Galaxy would be able to get you on a range with a LM and check your swing weight for you. Hope that helps!
  5. 1. City, State? St. Louis, MO 2. Handicap? 8.8 3. What is your current wedge setup? Cobra King Tour (set gap wedge) 48*, Snakebite 54/10* SW, Snakebite 60/8* (all black) 4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack) Black.. would match irons! 5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? I have been looking at new wedges and RTZ are top of my list. The finish would match my set perfectly and would like some versatile wedges that feel more like a forged wedge but has some durability. I used to play mizunos for the feel, but they wear out so fast. The cast vokeys, cobras, etc just dont have the feel I prefer. Lastly, I am not a huge fan of the bounces on my current wedge set and would like a grind that's a bit more versatile for the terrain I play on here in the midwest. 6.
