  1. Quick answer is go and get fitted. 🙂 There is really not enough information or data here as in what you’re playing and what results you’re expecting with a change of shafts. If you don’t want to go for a full fitting session you could maybe just swing by some proshop or golfstore and hit a few different alternatives with different shafts in them to see if anything feels better than your current setup.
  2. People wanting a plain black shaft should just wrap them in vinyl. 🤷‍♂️
  3. I suppose the question to this is; What would you want the shafts to do for you? What are you currently in and what else have you tried?
  4. It’s mainly a matter of space. i’m in an apartment. Have sacrificed half the kitchen area already. 😄 Swivel stand would make it a lot easier to bend all ways RH/LH with limited space for the bending bar.
  5. Feel free to post some pictures of your bending machines mounted in vises! 🙂 i figured I wanted it to stay as low as possible toward the workbench to keep unnecessary momentum down during bending. I just feel like mounting it straight into a vise would possibly introduce a weakpoint where it could move during bending and then all of a sudden you have to check what moved; the actual hosel of the club, the club in the machine or the machine in the vise (if that makes any sense?)
  6. Looking to see if there are a good way to make one myself. Anyone in here manage to DIY a reasonable alternative to the Golfworks/Golf Mechanix 360 swivel base for loft and lie machines? The unit would have been a buy if I lived in the US but with the additional costs of freight and added import costs this unit winds up really expensive. https://www.golfworks.com/golf-mechanix-heavy-duty-bench-top-360-swivel-base/p/gm1066/ For context, I have the GolfWorks Economy bending machine which has got a pretty small footprint so the base doesn’t necessarily have to be enormous as long as it holds up to the force of bending. 🙂
  7. Very cool! I thought I had Excel down pretty well but this is definitely a feature I’ve never used before! 🙂 I put the club in the bending machine today and that one read the lie at 64°. Bo guarantee that’s correct either but it’s the best I can do.
  8. Going to wake this up 13 years later, why not! came across this thread while really browsing for wall mounted Lof/Lie machines but I figured, what the hell, let’s snap a picture of a random club and see what the o3-model in ChatGPT has to say. It chewed on this for quite a long while actually. While the text is in swedish it says it estimates the lie at 63°. stated on a website that sells these cheap wedges is a lie of 64°. i haven’t really used this club all that much as it’s a 64° wedge I purchased mainly for the hell of it. But I’ve seen some of my new Cleveland RTX’s and some Vokeys come off the rack with bigger diffs from what the manufacturer states. Kind of interesting really.
