  1. I have the LA Golf L series WV in my 52 and 56 and love it.
  2. I got an untipped shaft to compare. Surprisingly, the tipped shaft feels much better and the numbers back that up. Dispersion better. Spin rate and apex height is higher too (shrug). Spin rate 4575 tipped vs. 4175 untipped. Apex height 96.3 tipped, 85.7 untipped. Head is a Stealth 2 Plus 19.5. Clearly club fitting is not all science. The good news is that I'd probably have a harder time selling a tipped shaft on eBay.
  3. This is great thanks. I’m kind of surprised I like the tip trimmed shaft so much. I’m not swinging that fast but my irons are KBS TGI 100 so maybe this is closer to that flex than an untipped shaft.
  4. Did you ever get an answer? The small weight in the Qi10 Tour 5 wood i acquired is 6g. Don’t know if this standard or not.
  5. Thanks. Love this forum. So many other forums, you ask a question and then get trolled for asking a “stupid question”.
  6. Can I tell from logo placement from shaft tip whether or not a shaft has been tipped? In photo the blue shaft is from a hybrid, the red shaft is a 5 wood.
  7. So I might be mistaken. One source tells me that TM now builds the 5W and the 3W to 43.25” and a D3 swingweight.
  8. Of course I’m not really drastically changing the playability of the club (42” is standard for a 5 wood) I’m just restoring it to the factory spec. TM build for a 42” shaft and the 5 wood will be heavier than a 3. So likely I don’t have to add extra weight unless I don’t like the feel of the out of the box swingweight.
