  1. I play a ping g430 lst and played for 2 seasons with the 65 gram 2.0 tour black stiff shaft. For a stock shaft it was actually a very nice shaft. I recently upgraded to a velecore blue 6 x and it has better accuracy and a less spin then the prior shaft. At times though I do miss that higher launch of the ping I had when the wind is behind. I will say this the velecore really helped with my spinny high miss fade right and reduced it when it happened.
  2. 7 blue isn’t bad either… I hit the red really high but try them both. I enjoyed the feel on the blue it wasn’t as boardy as the black and didn’t go crazy high and spinny at least for me. I also tried the black 7 and it was just too low. Now if I used my 3 wood to mainly tee off with I wouldn’t mind that but I also hit it into some holes off the deck so it wasn’t useful in black for me. Blue worked for me the best.
  3. I ended up going to club champion. the black 6x got switched to a blue 6x. I actually had about the same spin numbers on the blue but was getting better ball speed and smash factor with the blue. It also got upgraded to a velecore plus model. the 4 wood also went with a blue 7x velecore plus and was able to hit much better spin numbers and was hitting the ball much more middle on the face. 3 hybrid 9x blue velecore plus was the winner. overall the blue had much more feel and was better suited for me… I tried red and black as well and a few TR models. Red ballooned on me way too high and felt very unstable. I hit the black pretty well but the blue out performed them all. Black also had zero feel at all but it certainly performed as a very low launch low spin but I felt like I had to swing out of my shoes to hit it.
