OOPS,.. I was so excited I responded to the wrong post. I had several open.
I was installing a Double Bend putter shaft. The post I read said to sit the putter face down on 1/4" block on a table top. The offset on the shaft is supposed to be 1/4". Then I put the shaft on the hosel and making sure the shaft is flat on the table. I have a piece of 1/4" ss plate and my counter tops are level. I hung the grip over the edge pf the counter top and set everything up as described. I taped and hot glued it together for a test run and it was perfect. Grip is right back where is was. Address is just like it was. All good.
I'm refinishing an Odyssey #7 for my son for his birthday. Now I just need to clean, polish, replace the insert and get it all together.
