  1. I agree with everything that has been said so far...when I first got a R7 Mini it was amazing how far I hit it but some drives with regular driver were 15-20 longer so I was in fairway with Mini and figured I should just play driver for the extra...then started to hit is wayward as i swing too much up on driver 7-9AOA and misses were penal...plus compared to some of the folks I play with who hit it 300 yards, my misses were not long enough to just wedge it onto the green..so not only was I loosing dispersion but still had long shots in. So I have decided to go back to hitting mini driver, accept the occasional shorter drives ( compared to best driver shots) and play from the shorter grass where I actually have a chance to hit more greens. Some mini drivers shots were as long or longer than driver so the R7 mini is not short by any means. In addition, I have gone with a 5 wood and 7 wood and soon 9 wood as the 5 wood is so much more predictable to hit from fairway than even 3/4 woods and I rarely have to hit anything 3 wood length off the deck..in that case I should rather layup with iron. The mini can also be hit off nice fluffy lie on fairway if needed.. In addition, I agree with sometimes larger heads with the gear effect can be harder to hit than smaller heads...same with blades vs big game improvement irons. I play better with blades partly because of thin sole but also less room on face to miss it..
  2. Awesome! All I have is PLA right now but would totally get some TPU for my Ai mini. Please let me know if you are successful in creating one that can be printed on the smaller bed of the A1 mini!
  3. Thanks. Is there something special about the angle of the strike wedge?
  4. Hello all. I am interested in a training aid like the strike wedge which works on low point control. Have used towels or tees behind balls in the past. Looking to see if anyone has made one using a 3D printer as imagine it could be something simple to do. I don’t have knowledge to CAD something like that didn’t know if anyone has link to a similar 3D printer design. Thanks in advance.
  5. what black matte shaft is that, double bend? or is the center shafted putter head?
  6. Thanks! It’s a small size table for the kids with our limited space and when they were younger. Now it is a staging mg he area for all my excess golf stuff! Butterfly paddle. I am tempted to try my mini driver back out on the course.
  7. I agree on feel of DBM finish. I have a set of both satin and DBM PTM iron heads and the DBM feels noticeably firm and clicky..when I got the TS-4 DBM to complement my satin ones noticed the same thing as well. I like a soft mushy feel on my irons as a firm feel feels like I mishit the ball..soft mushy means flushed..hence I have gone back to the satin version. But as you can see from my post above, they wear much worse than the DBM does...

  9. Just did a refresh build with my TS4. Impulse buy of some KBs tour white shafts with blue labels as I remember loving that look over 15 yrs ago when I had a set. It has been interesting to see how the extra shaft weight 120 really smooths out my swing compared to the 105 and 95 shafts I usually use. Will see how long the honeymoon phase lasts. Some pics….also bought some rapid taper 105s so the journey will continue…ps I know GW ferrule doesn’t match but just didn’t have enough for build. Might get some more from Golfworks in future to make it match.
