A quick story: Some years ago, I was playing a round of golf and picked up a proV1. I had never played one before, so I was happy to find it and put it in the bag. After hacking it up for 11 holes, I decided it was time to try out this new baby. Absolutely destroyed the last eight holes! After I putted out on 18, I tossed the ball to my playing partner and I said "this will be my ball for the rest of my life." He looked at it and said "they do not make this DT Wound 90 anymore." I had reached into the bag and took what I thought was the proV1, but took an older Titleist by mistake....... Interestingly, I now play the pro V1 as my regular ball, but I'm sure that any of the similar balls would just work fine for my game.
