Dropped into a retail store to apply the 2x Callaway trade in credit for my g440 max driver trade towards the Cally driver I bought online store somehow happened to have a TD 7w … with the 75x tensei … so of course I left with it after getting 290 for my ai smoke 7w TD 1-3-5-7 TD Elyte … I’m all in on this tech

Old guys rock, we don’t give up, we can do it, step aside and watch young pup ! two days ago I had 25 curb-stones/garden edgers delivered at 170 lbs each I had to pull them off a truck at chest height, pin them against my ribs … and walk them 50 feet to my newly cut out driveway garden … which was on the far side of the truck. All this with horrific right tennis elbow (the guy delivering said the large truck with the skid steer was broken down and he’d had both shoulders repaired over the winter) last 2 days at the range took some excessive time to limber up 🐵

Or the 7w could displace my 4h, trying a new shaft in the 7w as well

This isn’t WRX’y but goodness this driver is a robotic point and shoot beast … in the stock shaft offering. Say it isn’t so!!! This is very “problematic” for a guy with a zillion driver shafts Frankly, I think I’ve fallen in love with the Elyte TD feel putting Cally driver tips on my PX ion blue and Zf 50tx tomorrow as well. ;o)

Elyte triple diamond max driver in 10.5 arrived yesterday … will test today in 3 shafts have also ordered a TD Elyte 5 wood to complete the trifecta

I’ve gone to +1 and N … for me it’s way higher than smoke

Phil is 4 under today, don’t think his detractors appreciate his game fully … he’s a senior worldwide and still flies it 315 … just has had 4 or 5 bad holes

Course is gettable today. Chasers need Scotty to have 2 bad holes and for them to get breaks on misses i’m calling Rory for the win

I might, I had the smoke max TD last year … but didn’t like the toe misses looking at Elyte mini 13.5 but I don’t think I’d need it, I may cave on 5w. Testing IZ 6x in my smoked TD 7w today … this years TD is better off the deck than the smoke, for me anyways, ymmv Ontario Senior Am is next week

Hey wrx golf geeks I am letting you in on a secret, this fairway club is incredible. First demo’d one in the UK two weeks back with the stock tensei 75x in it and I knew from the first swing it was up my alley Easy to elevate off the deck, monstrously long off the tee, anti-left, great size and shape. Superb acoustics and did I say long ? i’ve got an ADIZ 5x in mine, and after owning as many as 30 3/4/5 fairways at one time, however, this club is truly mind blowing. I hit three tee shots yesterday that went 280, and these were balls casually thrown down onto the tee deck, not teed up anyways, demo one, you won’t be sorry. Try diff shafts, I tried 4 I had on hand and like any new club I find clubs perform dramatically diff with subtle shaft changes nowadays mine is set up at +1, D, std 5g stock sole weight Recent tries for me as a reference … Elyte 3HL, Smoke TD, Rogue St TD tour issue. I play any brand and have been a Ping G400 fwy wood guy for years I just wish there was a tour issue triple diamond 5w with the adjustable hosel like they had with the AI smokes

Some Changes at the top end for this old guy G400LST replacement head back in with a ZF 60x shaft in it new triple diamond 3w and 7w .. may be ousting the g400 five and seven woods I’ve had forever as gamers Elyte TD three wood set at 16*. Wow. Hit this club in the UK and used it for a round, but they wouldn’t sell me the demo. Far superior off the turf than the AI smoke TD three wood I had last year. Very anti left and the IZ kicks like a mule, perfect for me, in this head 7 wood, triple diamond AI smoke. Great head size and shape … perfect feel. Had the nephew hunting for this club as a trade in at his golf shop, and it finally happened my Ping 440 max trade in is worth $560 and I might pull the trigger on an Elyte 13.5* mini driver. I just cannot find the right shaft for the 440 head, I’ve tried 8 options Twin is returning from Myrtle Beach with a new 400 max head for me
