  1. I'd go for the LB but the LBV could be a good choice if you like the M as well. All depends on your AoA and the conditions that you normally play in.
  2. For sure the MG5. Same wedge as the Proto that dropped on tour a few weeks ago (with different stamping). Super excited that it's forged!!! I was part of the WRX group that was selected to go the Tour Championship when the MG3 was released and I bought a few sets of them and stuck with them ever since. Moving to a forged wedge will certainly get me to upgrade to the MG5 even though my current set of MG3's aren't quite ready to cycle out (yet).

Supposed to be some pretty major storms in the Twin Cities today, especially north metro (where TPC is). I'm a Sky Warm weather spotter and have already received numerous notifications indicating likely activation.

Long story... To summarize, Hazeltine is really only interested in hosting majors. 3m also stepped up when TPC Twin Cities was first conceptualized to play sponsor for a Champions Tour event on the condition that as sponsors dropped, they'd get the option to host a PGA Tour event (at TPC). They passed on a few events including a FedEx playoff event because they preferred a full field event (easier for sponsors to make their money back with a full field) and a few others that didn't fit their preferred scheduling window. Then, of course, the PGA Tour shuffled up the schedule anyway and they got the short end of that stick (event used to be one of the last ones on the schedule for guys to quality for The Open, IIRC). TPC Twin Cities is a decent track. Arnold Palmer and Tom Lehman did the initial design and Tom's group (with notes left by Arnold) finished the redesign for the 3m Open. The course needs wind to present a challenge to these guys though. When it's soft and there is no wind, the course is essentially defenseless.
  5. I talked to a few guys on the tour truck earlier in the week and asked this EXACT question. From the info that they had, it's apparently not happening with the Qi35. 😔
