You forgot about the passive bragging the X flex players do too. They ALWAYS have to list their shaft and flex even when it is irrelevant to the topic.

Two real examples (paraphrased...)

Topic: "What's the most forgiving driver?"
X flex response: "Titleist 913 D2 with Whiteboard 83X or SLDR with Matrix 8M3 X" - one of these two is in their sig. Guarantee it.

Topic: "What irons did you shoot your lowest score with?"
X flex response: "710 MBs 3-P with TI X100s.."

I evern started a thread about the hilarity of this on this site and it got locked....probably by a X flex player wannabe....

Hey SHORTBUTSTR8, you're the same guy that states "coming from mp32's" in many threads. Nobody cares! You probably can't hit blades but you really want everybody to think you can.

It's an enthusiast internet forum, so really you should expect to read all kinds of wonderful and not so wonderful things, with some mundane bits thrown in.

The only real surprise I've seen in my time here is the sycophantic level of the posts some users embarrassingly reach. Check their post history and it's typically all OEM, equipment stuff, and some times almost all for one OEM. That adults would go to those lengths just to get free stuff is pretty cringe worthy.

What surprises me is how many people don't have a sense of humor. Things are taken way too seriously. Either that, or people have too much money involved.
