question for short shaft 3 wood players

Standard branded 3 wood these days is 43" to 43.5". finished length.

For those of you playing a 42" or 42.5" 3 wood what model shaft are you playing ? Did you add weight to the head ?

41.75 took about 3 grams off the shaft then I added a dritac grip 3 grams heavier than stock grip it feels stock and performs even better. Longer is not better, some day everyone will realize this lol. Pretty soon wedges will be 40 inches. I'll give up my 3 yards of distance to be %50 more accurate any day.

I had a 3 wood with an xcaliber shaft at 42" (r11 - 15.5*). I was hitting this thing more than my driver off the tee because of it's accuracy.

I found an ebay R11 driver head and stuck it on it. Threw my other driver in the closet and just use this weird 3 wood shafted driver all the time. I'm in the same camp as CTGolfJim...I'll take accuracy over distance loss any day of the week.
