As someone just getting back into golf since really I was a kid and taking it seriously for the first time - this is the only club I "splurged" on so to speak. I've been very happy with it thus far, but I do plan on re-gripping it with a WINN pistol grip that's a little larger.

Took some wedges and old putters in for credit towards the SC Futura X Dual Balance 38". First round today after putting on the practice green for about 30 mins. Had 32 putts, 1 3-putt, other that it is a nice putter, excellent distance control, perhaps it's the heavier head but I have never missed the hole long so much before, it's going to take some more practice but it sure is nice to get the ball to the hole every time instead of leaving putts short.

Just traded in my Bettinardi BC1 for an Odyssey metal x #8. I personally love the heel shafted setup with the single alignment line. I wasn't playing badly with the Bettinardi but the feel in the Metal X face is much better for me than the FIT Face in the Bettinardi. Gave it a spin last weekend on 9 holes and I had a great round on the green, 14 total putts, no 3's, and I holed 3 from outside 15'. Great trade off IMO.

I don't really need a new putter, but that has never stopped me before and since I am never one to pass up a bargain, I just picked up a ProType IX #4HT off 3-balls golf for $135 + tax and shipping (was marked down to $150 but I found a coupon code for another 10% off). I've plugged in the 20g weights, threw on a Super Stroke ultra slim 1.0, and I'm ready to rock and/or roll with this thing!

Built myself a "Frankenstein" practice putter today.

I purchased a New Taylor Made Manta Ghost Belly Putter (43") and had my shop cut it down to 38" and installed a Winn Counterbalanced Putter Grip, got a great deal as the total price was under $100 including Putter, Grip and Cut Down/Grip Install.
I built this with the premise that the heavier weight would allow me to practice focusing on smooth tempo and releasing the putter head.
I was able to spend about half an hour on the practice green with it before my round today and was quite pleased with how I putted today during my round. I used my "Gamer" putter for my round (Odyssey White Steel #3) and my tempo and speed was very good on the course. Seems like this might help improve Putting Stats.

Just bought a absolutely immaculate Scotty California Sonoma 1st of 500 for $300.

Put a Super Stroke Slim 3.0 on it (first time I've tried one) and loving the combo.

Feels soft off the face, the bigger grip really relieves hand pressure and also seems to help more consistent strikes on lag putts.

Picked up an Odyssey Metal-X #1 today. Been gaming a Cleveland Classic #2 with a SuperStroke the last couple seasons and decided I wanted to go back to a traditional size grip and putting cross handed so I had to get an all new putter too. I can justify anything. Lol.

Latest victim is a slightly unusual older Ping.
Big fan of the Ping My Day and am currently perfectly happy with a Scotty studio select Laguna 2.

Noticed a Ping Zing 2I Isopur putter on the bay at the end of last week going for very little money. Strange thing is it's a Zing body but with a plumbers neck on it. Have never seen that particular set up before, so $26 plus shipping later it's on it's way to me.
Thinking this might be the ideal candidate to pull the isopur insert out of and hand fashion a new insert.
