 I had Microdisc surgery L5-S1 about 11 Weaks ago(feeling great). But felt very uncomfortable over puts with my 34in putter. So I decided to go 37in Odyssey Versa 12 with SuperStroke Tour 2.0XL. Can’t wait to roll it this weekend.

I love that "ping" sound from the slot on the sole as well.

 

I noticed yours is 35", which would be ideal for me. Mine is 34", and a little on the short side for me. I putt better with my 35" BeCu Anser 2, but the anniversary Scottsdale feels better off the face.

So, just for the record, I love putters and I have a reasonable number of them, let's say 15 or so.  But I know what I like to look down and see, so finding just the perfect one hasn't been easy.  But, I just re-bought an Odyssey DFX 3300 and I'm back in love.  

 

1/2 shaft of offset - perfect

Sightline on the flange - perfect

Dalehead bumpers - perfect

DFX insert - Weeeellllllllll..... I'd rather have the OG White Hot, but they didn't make this exact configuration with that insert and that's how my original 3300 ended up in the "bag of mistreated clubs" in the garage.  I pulled out the insert without first confirming that the other insert I was going to put in would fit perfectly.  

 

Oh well, all's well that putts well and I'm extremely happy to have my Excalibur back rolling putts again!

I have an anser 3 in becu and definitely agree that the Scott’sdale feels better. why don’t you get it extended? I’ve done it in the past with some irons.

Now that you mention, I suppose that is an option. It would make it play heavier, which would be an added benefit.

 

It'd be a bit of a shame to lose the original grip, as it's one I like. 

 

Have to have a think about this.

This Bobby Grace Fat Man putter arrived last week. It's his version of the LAB putter with the shaft bored into the center of gravity of the head so there's little to no torque.

Not typically a short-slant neck guy, but the neck on the Spider X #3 seems to suit my eye really well. First Spider for me. And first time trying this Iomic ‘Sticky’ grip, I’m loving the size and shape (same shape as the Iomic standard, just a fraction smaller)

Grips can be saved. It isn’t exactly easy but it’s doable they make a tool for it even. There’s a guy here locally for me who does it all the time

I know a couple of guys who remove normal grips, but I'm not sure about putter grips.

 

One of the guys injects solvent onto the tape under the grip via the hole in the butt and gradually works the grip loose that way. He told me if the tape doesn't cover the end of the butt enough, the grip won't come off. 

 

That tool looks a lot easier to use...

it works the same way but opposite. You inject the solvent toward the open end of the grip instead of the butt and that thing breaks up the tape. I’ve seen some kind of pry it slightly and squirt the solvent between the tool and the shaft

I've saved hundreds of putter grips using the tool.

£185 delivered including a free dozen Supersoft Callaway balls. These are selling for £200+ used on ebay so a decent deal.

I just blind bought a Like New Odyssey Eleven S with no alignment lines. The price was too good to pass up and I've always wanted to try a Stroke Lab putter. My putters have always been heavy+counterweighted with similar specs to what the stock is so it should feel pretty familiar. 

 

Very interested in the forward CG as I've had trouble squaring up mallets with my preferred toe hang/offset.

The insert in it, I can't control the distance as well as a milled putter. It is a nice putter and all but just not for me.
