No matter what I just can’t stay away from the old carbon Scottys. Got it pulled apart and reshafted with a Fuji MC 115 XFirm tonight and it’s every bit as good as my old one, if not better.

Pretty cool stick from Callaway Preowned. Milled Collection RSX #2 in near mint condition. Best feeling milled Odyssey I’ve ever rolled. According to some chatter on here a couple years ago the #2 heads weren’t released to retail and there is thought they came off the tour van due to the lack of alignment lines. Either way she’s a keeper!

I returned mine because it was scratched, and didn’t fit me.  Great looking putter though!

That putter looks unreal!  I doubt they make it in left. 😂

It’s sick right?! Might be out of luck on the lefty. I do know they made an RSX 001, more of a Newport/009 shape in lefty but that’s probably hard to come by too.

I just bought an Odyssey versa 7 DB.  I really liked the feel and colour scheme.  I’ll rotate it out with other putter a Scotty Studio Stainless.

I dunno depends what you like looks wise and what you want feel wise. 

 

A nice copper insert is never not cool in a putter.

I just matched everything else I use. Smooth or fine mill is my jam and was hoping this will be too!!!

I switched to a center shafted Spider GTX earlier this year and had some success, but struggled now and the with distance control on very long putts, and wanted to find a CS milled putter I liked.  I also wanted to experiment with my own Ricky Fowler style putter.

 

I had an older Bettinardi iNOVAi 5.0 CS that I converted to 39 inches with a shaft extension and a bunch of lead tape, and the SS 17 inch  grip. Worked Ok, then went and ordered a Maltby Pure-Track Tour Milled PTM-5CS, had it made at 39 inches with the same 17 inch grip, got it Friday. The head is 389 grams, so I didn't add any lead tape.

 

Used it this weekend, made tons of putts, made 13 birdies over two days , has to be a record for me (a few 2 putt birdies), 71-68 with a bogey bogey finish Saturday and a double on 17 today.

 

It might be a keeper.

Something something great minds. I just did the same thing with PTM-5CS that I bought off the BST. I'm still getting used to it, but initial impressions are that I enjoy it!

I have had it for only a few days, but yeah so far so good.

 

When I first took it to the practice green, It felt terrible and I was putting terrible for about 15-20 minutes, and I was thinking I had made a terrible mistake.  Just felt way too head heavy, and I was not hitting it solid and it seemed to be going all over the place.  Then I remembered the regular length version that the guy I had make it had in his shop, he had it at 34 inches with a stability shaft, that thing felt great (He said this putter is also his gamer).  I tried choking up more to make it "play" like a 34 inch putter but with the impact of the counterweighted long shaft/grip, and it just clicked.   I think with the longer grip I just naturally want to hold my hands closer to the butt end, but with this putter it didn't work (my Betti iNOVAi 5.0 that I lengthened feels  better at an "effective" 35+ inches or so). 

 

What I was hoping for was what I had heard Ricky Fowler describe as a sensation of his Jailbird 380 just wants to swing itself, and with my hands further down the grip, I was starting to sense that feeling....  I used to sort of do that when I used a belly putter years ago, kind of take it back and have a sensation of just letting go and letting the putter "fall" back to the ball.....

Yep, it's a Sensor WB with a new neck design from him. I'd say it looks just a smidge more narrow than a BB8W.

I have always liked Scotty Cameron’s Newport 2 mid slant.  Found an old one and got it. It’s been beat on a long time.  But the face is flat it feels great and yesterday’s first round with it I made a lot of putts.  Almost happy to miss cause I got to use it again, such a good feeling thing.
