What putter did you just buy ?

Got this guy earlier this week. Really didn’t want to hop on the Scotty Cameron bandwagon but I actually really enjoy this putter. Spent an hour at the pga store trying it out and kept feeling my self really enjoying the Newport two so I pulled the trigger. First round with it putted the best I ever have

So interesting - I used to have a few of the "alphabet" blades from Ping, including the O, and I never remembered it looking like this at address.  That is a very nice shape, and I love the shaft/hosel design.  Likely donated this one, and now I'm wondering if I should have kept it out of the "donate" bag.

I’ve been obsessed with them lately and the shaft/hosel design is what originally drew me in as well. If you want a bullseye with a little more style, but the seemore mfgp’s style is a little too.. something.. then the o blade is the perfect middle ground.

There may be other putters out there with that same not quite center, not quite heel shaft location.. but I can’t think of many besides bullseyes and the toe hang seemores.

I stared at the "pay" button on LAB's site for almost 5 minutes before hitting it. Almost $700 for a putter...what am I doing?

This tingled my ebay search for some putters Im always looking for, and I couldnt resist (especially at the price I paid, less than $100 to my door). Carbon Steel Gauge Designs long neck, flat face, no alignment marks. Basically everything I want in a putter. Excited for this one to show up to test it out.

Picked up a second-hand custom LAB Mezz Max in the classifieds recently.  Need to get a bit more time with it but initial impressions are relatively positive.  I like the feel but need to get used to the added mass, although I think the carbon Accra shaft makes it feel more head-heavy than it actually is.  Definitely feels different than my Odyssey Ai-One 7 CH!

I messed with this putter about a month ago at golf galaxy and thought it was pretty damn good for $150.  Putted with it again last week at golf galaxy and still liked it.  I had a bunch of scorecard points so I got it for $100.  Then I get the mygolfspy e-mail this morning saying it won best blade putter this year. Going to get it on the course Sunday.

I also putted pretty sweet that putter in GG. Almost pulled the trigger

I figured for $100 it was worth a try.  I have been putting with it in my living room and it is pretty damn good.  I can’t wait to get it on the course Sunday.

Picked up a Cameron Phantom 5.2 for the northern bag. Nice mallet and nice compliment to the Studio Style Catalina that I just placed in the southern bag.  Very pleased with these updates.

I’ve been trying to replace my Spider Tour X for a while because I just don’t like the way it feels, but I make more putts with it than anything I’ve tried. 
 

A guy on the practice green had the Milled Proto and let me hit a few putts. Everything I like about the Spider but feels WAY better. 
 

I thought about running off with it, but overpaid for one on eBay instead. 😂

I just pre-ordered the new Taylormade Spider ZT putter. In the past, I used a LAB DF3 putter for a season and had some success with it, but I found the face to be too soft for my liking. Thankfully, the new Spider suits my eye much better, and I'm excited to test it out once it arrives. The stock specifications fit me perfectly.

Picked up a Ping Craz-E CB last week.  Played this past weekend with it.  Rolled it well, can't say I made a ton of putts, but our greens had been verticut and were very slow, but felt like it was just about automatic from inside 5 feet.... .   It feels very well balanced and really easy to line up....

I went into my local Scheels to try the Antidote, Square to Square, and LAB DF3.  I left with an LA Golf putter.  This putter wasn't even on my radar, but decided to try it out.  For whatever reason I putt the best with this putter.  I like to lay down a couple of alignment sticks.  I don't care about the cups at stores.  I liked the feel of the Square to Square, but could not get over how light the head felt.  The DF3 was also a great putter, but it was in 33" and I prefer 35".  Saw the LA Golf putter on the shelf and gave it a go.  The ball held its line the best with this putter.  Sound is terrible, feel is dependent on your ball.  If I didn't putt so well with it I would not be able to get over the feel and sound.  However, I am overlooking those things because my putting on course has been very good.  I'm holding my line much better than before. I feel like the father of a very ugly kid.  It's my kid therefore I must love them, but damn they're ugly  :-)

New Taylormade MySpider X Tour. This was an impulse buy, but I wanted one with the "short line" alignment, I don't care for the alignment that goes all the way down the head or the "True path" coloring so this fit the bill!

Update to my Gauge designs putter, it arrived today. It's in crazy good condition and it's face balanced. It rolls like a dream on my putting mat, can't wait to get this out on grass. Might finally be the putter I marry.

As far as the zero torque putters go, this one isn't too harsh on the eyes.

Agreed very easy on the eyes, much more so then my OZ.1

Picked up this Spider X. Seller said it was made for Zach Johnson but no way to definitively say whether or not that is true.

Picked up an Odyssey EXO 2 Ball Limited Edition.  Been looking for one for a bit but didn't want to spend $350+ for more of a "fun, add to the collection" putter.  Been a big fan of the Odyssey Microhinge inserts and this one has a great feel to it.  Not sure it will bounce the Mezz from the bag but it might make a great putter for slower course.
