Came from a Scotty circa 62 with a dot been playing for 10 years. Wanted to try a putter with a line. Found a sweet deal for this, has like a rainbow finish…anyone know if it’s stock color? Not too familiar with bettinardis

The Toulon Chicago arrived yesterday, but the other four (Eleven S Lined, Tri-Hot 5K Double-Wide CH, Tri-Hot 5K One, and White Hot OG #1) were across the past few weeks.  I guess I just can't help myself when Callaway Pre-Owned has good sales going on. 🙂

Odyssey Versa Three T slant neck, ordered with a Tuolon Design stepless black shaft and my specs.

 

I have only rolled it indoors so far, it just got here, but man it feels great! Sets up perfectly and feels so balanced. Can't wait to get it out on the course!

Picked up a Mizuno M-Craft Type VI in the Blue Ion colorway.  

 

Was supposed to get the Type V, but putted with the VI and honestly felt and looked better to my eye when I tried it out at 2ndswing.  Feel was amazing and I think it's going to take it's place in the bag.  

 

Mizuno special order times though are crazy long.  I custom ordered a wedge in first week of June, and it is now only about to get shipped.  I ordered this putter and was told to expect at least 6 weeks even though all I did was change the grip to a SS Pistol 1.0

Added another Scotty to the stable…Studio Select 2008 Newport 2 35” - gonna change the head weight from standard 340g to 350g…debating what color scheme to change..went back to a blade…debating which is better Newport 2 or Newport - liking both…third used Scotty of this year…

Thanks!  I have not gamed them all, but putting on my mat in the basement as well as the putting green at the course, I'd probably rank my favorites as:

1. Tri-Hot 5K Double Wide CH (by far my favorite all around....for now)
2. Tri-Hot 5K One
3. White Hot OG #1
4. Eleven S Tour Lined
5. Toulon Chicago

So far having tough time with the Toulon.  Likely due to the different face (others are all White Hot inserts).  The 5K One I actually don't love, but 4 of my best rounds ever I had it in the bag and putts were all 28-34 (which is very good for me).  White Hot OG #1 is the "cheapest" of this bunch, but when I try it out on the matt, it is fantastic especially for 10 and 20 footers.  Sometimes tempted to sell the others and just go with it, but I think in my head it's like the least "tech" so how can it be best, right? 🙂  The Eleven S I actually like a ton too...super easy to align and my putting line was really good when I gamed it and practice with it.  Mallet head even though heavier, I left some short which was weird.

Same thing.  for 2023, they also came out with a double-bend version of the Double Wide.

So many putter tryouts recently…

 

1. PING Anser - too heavy for me

2. Tried that LAB golf blade with the intention to buy it but hated the look and feel of it. All my putts went left for some reason too 

3. Ultralight Scotty Cameron Newport - this is where my heart belongs. 303 grams head weight, 10 gram weights, matador small grip and a light Stability Tour 2 shaft. Never putted this well in my life

 

waiting on a Tour Rat with a GSS insert from Scotty Cameron next week (bought it heavily used and went straight to the gallery to be made good as new), but considering my recent success with the Newport it’s probably going to be up for sale soon

Ran across this very clean rose gold Toulon Garage San Francisco recently. Swapped the chrome shaft out for a black Toulon shaft I had laying around and I’m in love.

The backstory is that Steve with Byron Putters sent it off to another boutique putter manufacturer to do the finishing work and they took forever to do the work. They also didn't put the correct finish on it, but I actually like what they did better.
