What putter did you just buy ?

Just finished up my second Carraher putter(in the past few months) 

I marked up one of his prototypes into a shape I preferred and he nailed it. It should be here this week and this one will be a counterbalance build. Can’t wait to get this put together. 
 

edit. Added putter built up at address. It sits so square

Availability was a factor but ultimately came down too looks as well. The gunmetal and black looked like a nice combo online and I couldn’t get an all black at launch. Ordered it and have zero regrets, love the roll of it compared to the PLD Hovland I was gaming.

Been putting with a 34 3/4" Ping B60 for the last 25 years, tried several other putters over the years but could never putt better with them compared to the B60.  

 

Since I ordered a new set of Wilson Staff Dynapower Irons over a year ago and really like them, decided to order a 2024 Wilson Infinite South Side Mallet 35" putter (could not find one locally to test). It has a mid-sized Wilson grip, double milled face, counter balanced and not expensive.

 

Tried the putter out for the first time today and really like it. Has a nice feel, easy to control distance and easier for me to line up putts compared to my old blade putter.  This putter is going in the bag!

I love these putters, but the grips feel so cheap compared to everything else. Probably for the best though because I'd own like 3 more different head shapes if the grips were better.

 I put a Super Stroke Tour 1.0 on my B60 and really liked it. Already have a Super Stroke Tour 1.0 for the Wilson, if needed. Yesterday when I tested the Wilson grip it's a little larger than my Super Stroke Tour 1.0, but the Wilson grip felt OK yesterday, will continue testing the Wilson grip, for now.

Played with the 2024 Wilson Infinite South Side Mallet 35" putter again yesterday and going out to play shortly. Distance control is easier and alignment is great with this putter.

 

The more I play with this putter, the more I like it.

Just bought a new to me, 8802 style TP Mills. Aside from the compliments on the golf course, the feel is unmatched. I want to order another with a sight dot and different finish.

I’ve been eyeing the M Craft line since they came out a few years ago. Local store had 1 new V model left for a ridiculously good price of $120, which included the weight kit. Should be interesting to see if this can knock the Scotty out of the bag in the Spring.

Double Wide ,  solid performer  and rolls the ball very well. Playing the course will tell the real story,

Just got another ping o blade and jr craz-e head that I’ll re shaft to normal length, because obviously I can’t survive without 3 of each.. 

I do find it funny how those have become my 2 favorite putters despite how different they are in like.. every way, but whatever if it works it works. At least they’re cheap and easy to find.. or maybe that’s the problem

Those putters deliver on stability. My son plays that same model and I don’t know if he’ll ever change. He made his a little lighter than stock and he putts quite well with it. Tri Hot 5Ks are underrated.

Thank You for sharing, it has done very well with time spent on the  practice green . I see there are several e bay dealers for the weights, but I am not  ready for that decision,  a few rounds are in order.

In the past, I probably bought about 80% of the putters I came across without trying them first. This time, however, I spent some time rolling the ball and decided on the Spider Tour X3 because it gave me the best results

Not as Gucci as most in here. But it doesn't matter if I drop $20 or $800 I'm 2 putting most the time 😂.

 

I picked this total package up for a song as far as I'm concerned. Brand new Cleveland Huntington Beach #4 Soft Premier for $70 shipped. Added the SS grip and weight for another $35 and cut down to 33.75". For $105 total I don't think it gets much better.

I just bought a couple of Seemore putters. 

The Scottys and Labs are out of my range.

These performed better for me than anything in the store.

I just picked up an old original seemore of a family friend today for $15. Just gotta throw a new grip on it. I haven't tried center shafted before, but I have hit many of the new milled seemores in store over the last couple years and loved the way they felt. I don't know if this will kick my gamer out of the bag, but I'm intrigued to try it out

In the store they felt the same.

I saw this offer on eBay for both putters at a decent price,so I bought them.

Out on a real green the thinner one outperforms the mallet.

The mallet has 45° toe hang and the thin one is 100% toe drop.

My thinking was that I always needed face balanced.

This has changed my putting,for now.

I have been wanting to try a Mezz Max with LA shaft for a while now.  Found one in new condition for 1/2 the price of ordering it.  I never understood what the hype was about with these shafts and I said to myself I would never pay what they are asking for one.  Well…I get it now
