FT Optiforce 440 rattle

I got my Ft optiforce 440 with Diamana s+ shaft in it for Christmas and I hit it really well. I notice though when I drop it on the grass or something there is a rattle around the hosel area. Anybody know what this could be? I don't really notice anything at impact yet though. I bought it new off eBay so I don't think I could get a replacement from callaway

There is a small aluminum washer between the bolt and the clubhead. It cracks all the time, and it's almost entirely vestigial. That could be what you're hearing. If that's not it, it's probably just loose epoxy. You could use some rat glue or just try and get it to the bottom of the club head, and use some heat to melt it back in place.

I'd call Callaway anyway, just to hear what the options are. They will probably help you.

Mine did the same thing. The plastic tip that holds the cogs on was broken. Called Callaway and they sent me a new one.

Yes. It is the plastic tip at the end of the shaft. Take the head off to verify.

I took mine back to the shop I purchased it at and the gave me a new one for free. No problems since.

Did you have to send the broken one back to them before they shipped the new one?

That plastic thing will tend to break if you make a lot o adjustments. Most good club building shops have extra
