... So for me to stay on topic, I will share this about my wife. Amazing woman who although does not share my love for golf (she did give it a fair shot, though!), completely supports my addiction. I mean hobby. Her thing is running, so I support that equally as se supports mine. At the end of the day though, after we do our own sports, and it's great to come home and spend the rest of the day with my best friend. She is a great step-mom to my boys (and a step-mom, in my eyes, is someone who chooses to step in, and take on the mom role to someone else's children, and not get the recognition they deserve for what they do).
I think in my case, since she and I both have been Marie's before, we really understand the concept of what is important, and what little things are not worth fighting about.

As Hawkeye stated earlier it is wonderful to find a partner who shares our interests, but I think it is just as important to support our mate when they pursue a passion that we don't share.

Ladies and Gents the 'Eagle has landed' and we are resting in the 'clubhouse'. At 11:13 am my wife gave birth to a beautiful, healthy and robust baby boy. Emerson Liam weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz, has big hands and feet, and a hearty set of lungs. He just finished his first feeding, is set for a bath, and is awaiting the arrival of his big brother Ethan (who's incredibly excited to play 'superheroes' with the little tike).

Thank you to all of you for your well wishes. The PeanutsDaddy was so proud to share his 'round' with the WRX-family. You're one special group.

Kudos to my Mom. She had my twin brother and I in Tamsania, 10 minutes before midnight, on Christmas Eve. Quite a story as she is a Dane and had basically eloped to Australia with my charming and dry witted British father.

I'd also like to give props to my lovely wife, in one month we'll have been together for 25 years ! WOW ! She has blessed us with two beautiful teenage girls, the oldest is 16 today !!! It feels like she was born only 5 years ago, and now we have driving lessons to deal with. My younger one is 14.5 and they both keep me on my toes with boys and parties.

Sometimes me and my tri colour male cocker spaniel just shake our heads at the shenanigans these 3 blondies get into, we pour martinis and bark at each other

Bewitching serum is correct. My wife was induced for our first child as she developed HELP syndrome and had to give birth early. 9 hours of the most excruciating pain I've ever seen. I would have tapped out much earlier and I'm not ashamed to say that. It's sad to say, but I avoided a snip/snip today as the doctors performed a procedure during my wife's C-Section. The 'Peanuts' are still intact, not that I'm going to hit the ball any farther than 250 yards.

True, but........be prepared for sibling rivalry.

You also need to be really good at patching and painting drywall. Be ready for patching holes from golf balls and clubs played inside the house and garage.

I couldn't survive another pregnancy (and my wife is now officially finished). The 2 successful attempts and 2 miscarriages sandwiched in between has us pooped. The challenges of conception and birth at the age of 35 are more difficult than playing 54 holes in a day : )

I have two brothers so I agree with the sibling rivalry comment. The three of us couldn't co-exist on a golf course.

As for the drywall, I finished our basement last year and drywalled several rooms (start to finish) on my own. Last week we discovered a hole in a wall and I asked our 4 year old son what transpired. He initially stated that Grandma did it, but later confessed to the crime while under 'interrogation'. He was 'practicing' his putting and had issues with his 'follow through'. He swung his putter like a 7 iron. The best part is that I was 10 feet away, doing laundry in the next room when the incident occurred and I didn't even hear it.
