Leatherstocking Tee time, Saturday 5/17, 11:03am

Hey guys.

Travis, 518TitleistX, and I are playing at 11:03 at Leatherstocking Golf Club in Cooperstown, NY. It's going to be pretty packed there so we thought we would open up the 4some to some WRXers and see if we can fill it so he and I are not waiting on every shot. I am playing in the NYSGA Fourball and it is the practice round for those playing in it.

Anyway, we would like to fill the group and meet some other WRXers. Also, they are running a "May special" and it is $89 with cart... not bad for there since they are normally north of $100.

ive never played the course but hear its supposed to be one of the nicest courses in central NY. good times to be had!

Working on it, I'd really like to play this place too, even if my buddy is unavailable we may be going as a 3, cause I have heard good things about the course

How did you guys make out? Hopefully it wasn't too swampy and chilly. I was going to join you guys but I already had plans.

Was a good time. Wasn't too sloppy but definitely some standing water in places.

You in any of the upcoming am series?

good times were had. im pretty sure joey found how long a SLDR 3wd can be. (nearly drove a 285yd par4 on the fly) I mean seriously....
Kuz hits a big ball too. lots of laughs and good company. little tough on the scoring, but the course was in fantastic shape for the amount of rain they've gotten this past week. some wet spots and minimal roll out in the fairways but fast, smooth greens, and well kept fairways.

Had a great time, and the scenery on that course was just amazing. Can't wait to get in another round with you guys, and Im positive by then the scoring will be better.

Glad you guys had a good time. My next event should be the Albany CC on June 9 (if I get in, currently #4 on waiting list).
