Dynamic Golf Tour Issue S400 vs C-Taper S or S+

really looking for some feedback between these shafts....I am torn between the two DG Tour or C-Taper

if anyone has practical input or a comparison btw the two it would be much appreciated

Have you demoed both? The c taper in my experience is a love or hate kind of deal. It really kills spin and lowers launch so if that's what your looking for it could be a good fit. It also plays stiffer to flex than the DG line.

C-Taper is marmite, you'll either love it or hate it.

You must try it, don't buy it blind. C-Taper also plays stiff to flex in my opinion.

I own all three. The S+ is way more stiff than the S400. The S400 seem to feel quite a bit heavier than than the C-Taper stiff. In my experience, the S400 also spins the ball a fair amount more than the S400 shafts. Personally, I love the C-Tapers, but I've learned to like the S400s in my wedges, as the added weight and spin is nice.

Agreed, and like someone else mentioned, the c taper plays way more stiff. The c taper S+ plays more like the DG x100.

In your opinion (s), would the S400 promote a higher ball flight and have tighter shot dispersion?
I fight a hook/pull and it comes from over swinging at times coupled with getting FLIPPY with my
right hand (right handed golfer). So, I try and do anything to avoid the LEFTS.....I have the C-taper
Stiffs now and have no issue with them but I hit some X100 tour issues DG and liked them. The
heavier weight would not bother me I a don't believe. Would the DG S400 launch higher?

Try dgx100 soft stepped once. If you like/want heavy then that's the ticket. They'll fly slightly higher than the c taper but feel much better IMO. It's just hard to beat the good old DG, especially for the price. I wouldn't waste the money on the tour issues either , they're just weight sorted for tour techs to take weight sorted heads and get a consistent swing weight throughout a set without too much weighting being added.
