Badges on I20s starting to peel

Bought them off the bay a few months ago and have been very happy so far. As I was cleaning them with some warm soapy water after my most recent round I noticed the badge were starting to peel a little. Is this something Ping will fix for free? I had R7s for years and never had this problem.

When it comes to badges and weights, Ping is pretty good about taking care of it if you send it in.

8 iron and wedge are the only ones showing it right now (wedge is about the same). It's minor, but I want to get a handle on it now.

Ahh...damn. i can see why your annoyed. Try calling PING. They will probably ask for a serial number and then replace it (i'm not certain, but have a few PING threads with problems like this or finish wearing off. Very few threads about PING durability but they pop up every know and then).

For the most part it seems people on all forums are quick to post about issues, but very rarely do you see it the other way around (something like I've had i20's for almost 2 years and have no badge peeling or finish issues at all). I do have i20's and have had them for just short of 2 years and 150+/- rounds, I've had 1 weight port come out and promptly repaired by Ping, but no finish or badge issues.

I had 2 weights fall out, & for some strange reason they had to replace the entire club?
But were quick to Fix the problem

Ping has always had excellent cusotmer service. They will definitely take care of you.

I've played alot of rounds with my i20's and haven't had any issues with the medallion. I have had to have other PINGS repaired and their customer service has always been great for me.

Same thing happened to my back up set (short irons). Ping took care of them. You will need to send them in for repair. Call them.
