Bought one of those from Goodwill for like $5 last summer and they still work wonders. One of the best ever made

Probably purchased off one of y'all.... Got this off eBay today. Been wanting to try one with this shaft combo. Hopefully it works out as a good 200 ish yard fairway finder for windy conditions and I can use it to punch some low stingers under trees. Looks like it was swung a few times and hung up. I've never tried a utility iron so hopefully it's at least a little forgiving, long and keeps it lower.

I added a 60 degree Jaws Raw Z Grind to the bag a few months ago and I've really enjoyed using it to the point where it made my 56 degree wedge feel redundant. I picked up this Miura K Grind 54, and the gapping is also much better for me.

I have this need, the need for blades. 😂 Son swapped me the Cobra heads for my Epon AF-302 heads.  Yup, they're blades and will let you know your swing wasn't right.

Bought a few autoflex shafts.  one for 95-100 swing speed. The other for 100-110. I'm usually around 99-103. Decided to try the 95-100. So I could control tempo better. Got them raw, put my apapter on + grip and just played it as it. Would be 46" on my g430 max 10k. 

I can honestly say it's by far the best shaft I've ever used, and it's not even close. I've tried all the velo+ and honestly it blows them out of the water. Not just distance but dispersion was absolutely beautiful. I havs yet to swing it on my sim to see ball speed and spin but I played 18 with it today and those balls come off the face like an absolute rocket ship. It was actually hard to believe. I played with my buddy that is generally 20-30yards further and he was behind me all day. 

He also absolutely loved his p790's and for his first time out this year with clubs he had never used in the correct length and lie for his height, he is 6'4" always used standard length clubs he was dropping dimes on approach. They sounded amazing and said they felt so good. So I was ok with him beating me today. Just happy he really liked his clubs and played the best round of irons ive ever saw him play. We have been best friends for 38 years so we have played a lot together.  I played bad but honestly was my best round I've played seeing him enjoy his gift and it work out so well for him. 

I ordered myself a new set as well that should be arriving in a week or so

 

But that autoflex shaft was a game changer for me. I'm 42 for reference.  I'm giving the second to another friend that's our small towns golf coach. To either use or raffle off for some funds for the team. Not sure what he will do but it's going to be his to decide. I've really enjoying giving especially to people I know that appreciate it. When you can see another man fighting back tears of joy it does feels good. 

Ive been very fortunate this year but also worked my Butt off which hasn't allowed me much time for golf so far this year.

Same here, been playing it since they came out. Started out with the AF505 and 505X, to be honest hit them both about the same. REALLY GOOD. Then went to the AF405X JOY and hit it better than the previous 2. Just recently switched to the AF405 and this is definitely the one. Haven't hit the ball this long (for me) in a few years. Easily picked up 20 - 25 yards on a good stroke. For reference I am 68 with an average swing speed around 95ish.

Ordered Sunday, arrived from Japan just before noon today.  Tourstage X-Blade 701G.  These are pretty similar to regular 701 offerings, but have a deep undercut on them.

Got my new p790's went with black, ping i530 5-pw and Callaway ai smoke 4hy going to either dicks or 2nd swing see what they will give me. There's some light wear as I did hit quit a lot on them last year. I'll probably get ripped off. Do not want to deal with selling private shipping too much work. 

 

The black heads with the cpx grips im really digging but they will probably wear quicker than the standard color heads but man i like them

The face etching/milling is crazy.

I remember when the Bobby Grace putter came out it seemed so different and strange.  Flash forward to today and it seems like a normal putter.  It really was a design ahead of its time that does not get much recognition.  
 

The irons are nice as well.

Funny enough, I was looking at these yesterday thinking about picking them up but talked myself out of it. Told myself they have too much offset... I have too many anyways and not enough time to play them 😄

Excited to give these a try. I’m their first customer from the South African online store so there’ll be no chance of hitting the wrong ball in the Saturday comp! My current ball is the Chrome Tour.
