Just bought "used" Nike Covert Tour 2.0 w Speeder 661 shaft on eBay. I'd use term used very loosely...I couldn't even tell if it had been hit. $71...score.

Not using the Nike headcover which was kindly included. Using other recent purchase. Canada headcover.

One cold weather round under belt with new driver. Really impressed.

Just picked up my 915 D2 with Motore Speeder 7.2, also got my 915F 3W with the 8.2 Motore Speeder. Will be a real bomber.

Found a great deal on a set of irons I've wanted since they came out. Got them for 30% off from Callaway Preowned and they look brand new! Also went and splurged on a Callaway Double Black Diamond. Could have waited until spring but I was hitting this particular one so well I didn't want to risk getting a different one. Best feeling driver I think I've owned. Paired with the Rogue it's a perfect match for me. I will say, though, that the 915 d3 was a really close second. Just better dispersion and overall carry numbers with the DBD. Haven't gamed it yet, hoping to walk with it on Sunday. Pretty light.. It's a 14-way bag.

Quality seems good, sturdy legs and fabric seem to be nicely made as well.

LOTS of pockets, which I like. For the price I got it, I cannot complain at all.

Currently using a Hoofer and it isn't the lightest bag out there. Just hard to beat that strap system.

And a Ping G25 8.5* with Prolaunch Red 75 X..shaft is from a Callaway driver so new grip is definitely going to be fitted, plus it's about an inch too long for my liking so will be butt trimmed as well.

I haven't seen those in forever. I wanna say those were tour only irons about 15 years ago. We never had them for sale in any of our shops back then. I always wanted a set. Still gorgeous all these years later.

 

 

I've heard those stories before KM. I'm in Australia, I'm not sure if they were on general sale over here.

I was hoping to find that mine might have once belonged to a pro :)

 

I sent the serial number off to TM (in Aust) but they said it pre-dated any of their records so they couldn't help...

I also hear that these were forged in the Miura forgery. But I haven't been able to verify that either :(

Played a satin finish set of x-300-fci myself for quite a few years that were built for me by TM tour van. Your set is indeed in excellent condition, those irons were a very limited production run, done by Miura. Larry Nelson played that model for a bit on tour. This particular forging die was later used to make another very limited and coveted iron, the Firesole forged (played by Ernie Els), which Easyy had a set of the heavy heads and he still regrets moving (sorry Richard, I empathize as should have never moved my x-300-fci, either ).
