Posted this in the PXG thread but this thing is now set in the gamer rotation after <30 balls. Great sound, a trajectory that doesn't balloon, and stupid long. If anyone is looking for a driving iron I can't recommend this thing enough, especially at the $179 rate they are now selling at.

9* Stealth. Pulled out the stock stiff and put my Tensei Orange in it. Very impressed so far after 1st round with it today. Played a local 9 hole track, first time out with driver. Per The GRINT…. 100% fairways hit 1st 9 holes and 86% the 2nd nine.

For the past 20 plus years it's been x100. Last year and half project x. 

 

I've only hit the recoil 125 proto. These are lower launching than the Protos. They fly for me similar to PX but without the harshness of steel. 

 

Just an amazing shaft.

My Sim2 3w and 3h are ~month old. Few rounds played and I’m demoing Tsi2/3 and G425 😂 No reason to trade… hammers aren’t the issue, but came away impressed by 425 sans batwings and always keep a loose eye on used market.
 

Titleist wasn’t as kind, but I pulled into Dick’s on a whim leaving the bar… void demo. I’d like to hit the Mizuno’s… maybe Srixon too.

New to me Mizuno 921 Hot Metal Pros, 6-GW with stiff shafts and Z-Cord grips. Took them to the range tonight and absolutely love them. These are replacing the irons I bought when I started last year (Ping G20s)

 

Also bought a (possibly brand new) Mizuno ST 190 driver from Modern Golf. Super happy with it.

I bought them second hand, so I couldn’t say how much the Cushin insert costs. I CAN tell you that these did not feel like my S56 with the same shaft and, after a few months of struggling to adjust to them, I sold them. I’m not insightful enough to tell you if the difference was the (relatively) jacked up lofts, the extra bounce, the look of the heads, the construction of the heads, the Cushin inserts or some combination of the above variables, but the end result is I didn’t like them, went back to a slightly more conventional club with KBS $-Tapers, and I couldn’t be happier. Sorry that I couldn’t be more informative.
