I know how you felt. Me and a buddy both used golflogix apps and we would be standing next to each other and have a 10 yds difference. I bought a bushnell not long after that

I bought a Simmons laser rangefinder on the Bay a week ago. My buddy has a leupold and it has the exact same readings that his did for a third of the cost, if not less. $70

Yeah if I didn't have a Skycaddie I'd probably have some type of laser, but even though I'm a hardcore WRX'r but literally know nothing about lasers. The only thing that's stopping me from getting laser is hole over view, unseen bunkers, hazards,l lay ups, and blind shots but stuff like that but that only really happens when you play a new course. I personally have a hard time locking the flag with the laser my buddy has, but he can get it locked on in just a couple seconds, I'm guessing it just takes maybe a full round to really get used to lasering the flag. But those new lasers that calculate slope is pretty damn cool!!!

My dad has the upgraded GolfLogix app and and today a few holes his was 4-6 yards longer and then a few holes were 4-7 yards shorter which can be quite a lot. When we play multiple days in a row and the par 3's have the same pins and same tee locations I get the exact same numbers everyday so that's reassuring (well if I get on the teebox and don't change the pin location from it's standard middle green location).

But I'd really like to get a laser for courses that are not available on my skycaddie. Also our range does not have yardage markers and the range hitting area gets moved so that's another good reason to have a laser.

I just looked at the Bushnell website, is yours the v3 slope model by chance?

It's a nail polish. Seems to work fine and is almost identical in color. I don't have with me or I'd let you know brand/color.

So had a nice day despite the early morning rain in Dallas...
TopGolf had their "Battle" today at The Colony location... I took third and won a 4-some to stonebriar country club! from what I hear it is an amazing private course that i normally wouldn't be able to get on...
also stopped in to see a friend that works at Oakley, he set me up with his discount and I got a set of Prizm Golf lenses for my Flak Jackets and I also picked up a pair of Flack Jacket 2.0 with Prizm Polarized Daily lenses... I think i'll have him pick up the Prizm Golf lenses for the 2.0's as well, I love the look of them and can't wait to try them on the course...

I just recently finished putting this club together. I've been wanting one for sometime, just never got around to buying one until a week or so ago.
