Better trad in value: golfsmith vs galaxy?

So, I am too lazy for the BST. Which of these places gives better trade in value? Thanks!

Do you have a Roger Dunn close by? They always surprise me with how much they give me for my used clubs compared to the PGA value guide when I'm too lazy to sell them online.

Golf Galaxy.

Golfsmith had a new system that only allows them to take newer clubs. Any club not on their corporate trade in system will not be accepted.

Every time I have checked trade in values for clubs I no longer want, the amount is not worth bothering. I'd rather sell them to someone who wants them than give the clubs to a store.

Anything over $100 and they will pay shipping. So if it's a newer club that should cover it.

Are you near a Golf Mart, Van's, Golfer's Warehouse, Uinta, or Edwin Watts? ...because they are all the same company and will get you the same trade in value as Roger Dunn.

BTW, along with Dick's, Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy, and all the above mentioned stores are offering a 50% trade in bonus right now.

When I did mine if it's over $99 then they send you a fedex label.

Golf Galaxy will at least give you store credit for your trade in. Golfsmith will only put it towards a purchase of a new club(s).

Galaxy and Dicks base their trade in right off the low/mid/high PGA values. It updates around the 7th of each month. They keep a binder in the back of the store.
Galaxy then marks the price of the used club at double what value they gave you on trade.
They don't haggle on used club pricing.

Golfsmith not sure but I've heard they will often give more than PGA value for brands like Titleist and Ping but under PGA value on other brands. Also Golfsmith is usually willing to haggle on used clubs that have sat a while. Maybe $10 off something they recently took in. I always ask the question "can you do any better ?" Always works.

I can't find anything on the trade in bonus for any of them...it ended last month
