Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the TP just be a .335 hozel version of the SLDR S instead of the .350 standard.

Call it TP and then adjust the hozel size to .335 to accommodate high end aftermarket shafts, BOOM! SLDR S TP.

The SLDR s are super shut face in the fairways, drivers just a little. Are the SLDR s tp's different heads?

Some of you say you have them already how about pics?

I believe the S version also has a lower CG than the original SLDR hence the higher lofts?

Yes correct, the SLDR S has a slightly different (lower) CG and is for a wider range of swing speeds.

Anybody have some inside info about the suggested webpage update? I was told by TM, they would have it back up and running properly, and a new format on 10th July. As far as I can see, it's not been updated yet.

Latest word is that customized clubs will be able to be ordered on their website by Wednesday, July 16. You can place an order with retailers now, it just won't ship until the last week of July.

The SLDR S TP Driver, Mini Driver and Fairway Woods have always been an orderable option with retail accounts. It just has not been marketed to the masses. Basically, go to your favorite dealer and order your SLDR TP with the shaft you want, today. TM has also indicated that the selection of custom shafts may increase after they streamline custom operations with Adams.

Yes, that's my point. Alot is changing and in fact already has. Lofts on the SLDRs' are changing, apparently they are dropping the 9.5*, and as you say the streamlining of Custom options is also a move in the right direction, but without a clear picture on the website, it's not easy to see what's going on exactly. Even the retailers are often in the dark especially with us Leftys'. So the sooner all options are up on an updated website the better. Pity it's been put back another 6 days. Guess that's to be expected.

It would be the same difference that exists between the SLDR white and SLDR dark gray......NOTHING!

I get the "idea" to release yet another driver that is supposed to be less expensive to make, and replace the "failed" JetSpeed. In this case, they are capitalizing on the SLDR look and name by releasing the S, which is brilliant, yet again for TM. But, c'mon, how many of you really believe that gluing the shaft is that much cheaper than an adjustable hosel? Really?

Huge diff in cost. A lot less tolerances to control and no other parts. No sleeve, no washer, no screw, no checking tolerances in the sleeve, threads, bore of the sleeve and sleeve port.

So then Why was the jetspeed the same price and had an adjustable hosel? the only reason the sldr S isn't adjustable is to differentiate it from the sldr

But the Jetspeed didn't have the sliding weight. So there's where the costs may offset.

Looks like they hired the same people who did the Obamacare website.

As of this morning, the "Customize" button is active again on the TM website. More shafts options may be available the middle of next week.

Yeah the customize button is back but the options are all still the same.

I don't see a "TP" version of the SLDR S anywhere. What is it? A .335 tip square head? Soem here say they have them please post pics!

My thinking was that the stock real deal shaft options for Adams (red tie, project x, etc.) will become available as stock options in the non-TP drivers. If they start to make real deal shafts available (maybe even OTR) with their woods, I would think those other OEMs lost their leg up on TM.

Unfortunately, they're not offering the stock options that Adams offers on their drivers for the SLDR line. I checked last night and was disappointed.

Yes, I see the customize option is back on, but no other updates as yet. Very poor, how long has it been now? Over a month? Strange how their releases for new equipment are never a month late, but a relatively simple thing like a website takes eons to get right.
