What was your best?

Well today is my 16th birthday ( and it was pretty sweet), woke up, packed up my 460 watt stereo, went to school, and DJed a little event there, got lots of birthday hugs (especially from the gals :blink: ), had a great workout at track, then went to the mall and got two pairs of Adidas Gigarides for $140 (Great deal!!!!) Now i get a steak dinner ;)

Have any of you had a real special birthday? maybe your pop took you to pebble beach or somthin? got a new car? lets hear em!

This past year I spent my birthday weekend on Kiawah Island. With the best accommodations, great food, great wine, and The Ocean Course. All on my grandmother's expense. Happy Birthday.

For my 17th Birthday my parents flew me to Australia for 2 weeks to go surfing and White Water Rafting. After that we headed to Hawaii to get in a couple of rounds of golf. When I got home I had a new Mustang GT Convertible sitting in the driveway ;) (I had wrecked the car they got me on my 16th LOL )

 

Still haven't managed to top that B-Day yet :blink::):cheesy:

At how rigid my parents are...you might want to rethink that. Also, you have to remember that I grew up overseas in the Inited Arab Emirates where it got to be Hot Hot Hot. The one good thing about that was the membership to the Emirates Golf Club where they play the PGA Tour Desert Classic. I lived about 5 minutes from there ;)

That thread reminds me of the MTV show: "My super sweet 16". LOL

 

On the show some rich kids turn 16 and then they organise a party. At the end the parents often say, how much they have spent; in the 500.000 $ range sometimes. It is unbelievable how the kids misbehave when something does not work out perfectly. :)

This past birthday me and my girlfriend and a couple of buddies went to the casino after having a fine steak from Ruth Chris....Man was that craps table hot!!!! I think only one of us walked out with less than 3 grand, one of my buddies won close to 10 grand(hit back to back $100 YO bets). Got all of our rooms and food comp'ed the next day it was awesome.

lol, love it! Tiger starts to turn up and all of a sudden it becomes a PGA Tour event. I guess the European Tour is officailly the PGA European Tour.

 

Anyway, my best birthday to date was my 15th. My Parents who were normally quite strict on attendance signed me out of school and took me and my brother to the matchplay at Wenworth for Friday's play, then we went again the following day. By no means the first time I had been but was very nice to be there on my birthday and not be in school. Got a kick Word not allowed pub dinner on the way home too!!

I'd have to say my 20th(last July) was the best. Played as a spotter in a one day Member/Guest at the course I work at. Shot a +1 73. Ran home and changed and headed to Bay Hill to play another 18 that afternoon with my roomate. Shot an even par 72 and had the best up and down of my life on 18. After that I went out for a little dinner with some buddies. Nothing crazy, however I'm turning 21 in 3 months :russian_roulette: .
