Best 3-wood?

Looking for a 3-wood that is long off the tee but easy to hit off the deck. Any suggestions?

Having good success with the Ping G10 3 wood. All time favorite though was the Cleveland Launcher Ti. Unfortunately, I gave it to my dad as he needed it more than me.

Been meaning to try the Callaway xHot line and as you mentioned, last years model so can be had on the cheap.

Curious though, the Pro version still forgiving in your opinion?

As a 20 handicap, go with the non pro version.

G25 is about the easiest thing I've found to hit off the deck. Off the tee it's about 10-20 yds shorter than my driver.

The new G30 was very forgiving and pretty easy to launch, definitely go try that out!

Another vote for the Xhot, I put one in my bag last year, it's the easiest 3w I've ever owned to hit off the deck.

X2 Hot is now discontinued and discounted. It is the easiest 3 wood to hit off the deck I've tried. I liked it so much, I bought the 5 wood.

Titleist 906f4 13.5 3 wood. Longer than a driver and sooo easy from the fairway

X hot pro is the best I've ever hit. The pro will be a little lower launching and more fade biased than the non pro. Tee CB4 or CB5 are also good clubs and can be had cheap.

Also not the best for off the deck. Many other offerings are just as long off the tee and more versatile. Another vote for the X Hot, loved my XHP (cracked face or would still be my gamer).

Went from RBZ Stage 2 to G25. Plenty long but not as long as the RBZ, but much easier to elevate off the deck. The G25 is the best 3 wood I have ever played.

Lots of good fairways recently, and shouldnt be hard to find one that fits your game. For higher handicaps, the rbz stage 2 comes to mind. I hear a lot of talk about them being hard to hit off the deck, and thought the same until i hit one. It was very easy to launch high and It only wanted to go long and straight for me. If I wasnt so caught up in the "latest and greatest/newest model" it would still be in the bag.

G25 fits the bill...slightly shorter face somewhat easier to elevate off the deck. For me the Cobra Bio Cell has been magic...kicked the g25 into the backup role.

Almost any Ping G series - G10, G15, G20, G25.

Haven't tried the G30 but i'm sure it'd fit the bill as well

I vote G15. Best 3W I've ever owned, period. It's perfect with the OG Whiteboard 83x. I've hit shots with it that leave me shaking my head at how good they turn out, exactly how I visualize...

TM '08 Burner 3 wood (with the big "B" on the sole) works great for me....even with the stock superfast 49 shaft!

Grenade 3 wood hands down. Have a 3deep and tee cb5 and the grenade trumps in accuracy and distance. You will thank me.

Just got CB5 3 and 5 woods and am very happy with their performance on the tee and off the deck. Definitely worth a look

I appreciate all of the responses. My list of 3-woods to try out include the Callaway, Tour Exotics, Titleist, and the Ping. Don't know where I could get my hands on a Grenade. They're no where to be found in my neck of the woods.
