Mizuno MP-60 5-PW with PX 5.5 (satin) custom built. Blueprinted and spine aligned. I paid $900 for these after all was said and done.

These irons look great! Just have a couple of questions: What does "blueprinting" mean? I'm not familiar with that term. Have they been custom-fitted for you?

Also, I'm a high-handicapper (20+) and am headed off to a 3-day golf school in May. I've been playing with some old knock-offs that are in need of replacement for a while. Would you guys recommend irons like these or are they more suited for a true low-handicapper? I'm still working on my consistency (which I hope the school will help with).

While I'm not the seller let me put in my 2 cents. If the seller is upset, I'll delete this post immediately. If you're a 20+ and you're a good iron player, you might try these. However, if you're a 20+ because of your iron play. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. I'm a mid-teen capper and tried a set of these. When I was hitting irons well, these irons were wonderful. But if I had anything but my best swing, it was a long day on the course. I has s-300 shafts and would get a stinger clear up my arms, elbows, and into my shoulders by mis-hitting these. I'd see if there were some to demo before you commit.

Thanks, that's the feedback I was hoping for. Better equipment won't make me a better player. :friends: Unfortunately, iron play is probably the weaker part of my game. I can usually drive it pretty straight and my short game and putting are decent. irons 3 - 7 are my weak point so par 4's and 5's kill me. If these irons are more like blades, then I think they are definitely out of my league right now.

 

I'm sure the seller will find a buyer for these soon. Looks like a great price to me and I would snatch them up if my game could match the equipment. :cheesy:
