Only 2 changes in 1 year, couldn't be more happy!

This is just a thread that I couldn't not make, as I'm super giddy about a couple new additions. One of them isn't even "new" I just messed with it a bit.

For the past 2 years my set up for the long game has been G25 Driver, K15 3 wood, K15 5 wood, 23 degree hybrid. My philosophy for the last 2 years has been game improvement throughout the bag. I wanted the most forgiving clubs possible.

Now, if any of you struggle to hit fairway woods off the deck, or hit them in general, the K15 is your stick. I don't struggle with fairway woods, but the k15 is insane. Stupid easy to hit, stupid easy to elevate, and amazingly accurate. My only issue has been how high I hit them(which is what they are designed for).

So recently I bought an SLDR mini 12 deg off BTS, and it has been absolutely money. Only about 10 yards shorter than my driver, and it is an absolute fairway finder. If you haven't hit the mini, do yourself a favor and try it. I don't even really struggle with driver, but I figured it would be nice to have for some tight holes. It's surprisingly easy to hit off the deck too.

So now my delema was gaping. The k15 3 wood is 16 degrees and the 5 wood 19. I CANNOT pull these things out of the bag, as they have been too good to me, but one of them had to go. So I reshafted the 3 wood with an Ahina, cut to 5 wood length(had a Diamana S+ in it before) to try and bring the launch and spin down. So at 16 degrees it's practically a 4 wood.

In conclusion:

1. If you haven't hit the mini, and either struggle with your driver, or don't struggle with the driver but want something that is almost a guarenteed fairway finder, try it. Mine has a tour spec Fuel in it and is money!

2. If you struggle with fairway woods at all, try the K15. It's the easiest fairway to hit on Earth. Period.

I recently picked up a mini 12* and I'm very happy. I switch off depending on the golf course. Either 10* jetspeed or 15* jetspeed is removed in favor of this club.

I can second the Mini recommendation. I absolutely love mine and it will take something incredible to kick this thing out of the bag. Got a Tour AD DI-6X in mine and it is amazing. A little shorter than driver, but I can work the ball both ways and can hit fairways much more consistently than driver, especially on my erratic days. Tee it low and let it run, or tee it up a bit and let it fly. Awesome club!
