again the Houston area Golfwrx players were at it again for another great outing this past saturday on 8/30/14. we had a great turnout with 24 players at lake windcrest Golf Course in Magnolia (just about 1 hour north of downtown Houston) ..i want to first say a huge thanks for the following companies/manufactures and people that made this outing great.. BeanieAZ, we have been trying to have an outing every month. We are having our largest turnout next week with 36 players teeing it up at Deerwood CC. The course best known from the last scene in the movie "Tin Cup". Not sure about October yet. November outing is in the planning stages for the Monday before Thanksgiving. You're always welcome to join in in the fun.

Hey guys I'm new to the site

I am currently working at long wood golf club under the new ownership and I'm looking for some Houston based groups that I could get in with. I am an entry level golfer but eager to learn.

everyone is welcome to join in the outings/weekday games/weekend games etc.. we have a Facebook page setup so search Houston golfwrx and that is were we start everything up.. We have over 100 members and growing from +4 to 36 handicaps.. Everyone is welcome..

The facebook page is a great success actually, always someone playing, so most guys post there their tee time, how many are needed and guys fill in. Guys play as early as 7:00am all the way to mid afternoon. Been great, meet some new guys.
