Fourteen FH 1000 to Miura MB-001

Just like the title says. I would like to get some feed back both irons. I read reviews on both irons and they were both very positive. Also recently purchased Fourteen FH1000 and currently it's in the bag. I think FH1000 is a great iron set with great feel and very very forgiving for blade. Also even on miss hit, the club does NOT penalize as much as other blades.

 

I know that Miura is more prestige brand than Fourteen but aside from that I would like to get some feed back in terms of feel, forgiveness, and etc when COMPARING the two irons from average users out there.

 

I personally never hit Miura's before.

if the FH1000's are so great and forgiving then why do you want to switch? You just want a more "prestige" name in your golf bag?

No plans for a change but with all the hype with Miura's wanted to how they are compared with FH1000

I am a sweeper. My ball striking is decent. My problem is the short game.

If your are sweeper than you might be able to play the TBs, diggers need to wear a wrist brace for those irons. The leading edge is very sharpe and they are really low bounce. The two irons are night and day for blades. FH I consider a GI type blade if there is such a thing. They are forgiving, med launch, wider soles and overall bigger heads for blades. TBs are small heads, really low launch, thin soles, they take game to play.

I know it's a little trip down the freeway but NoBogeys golf off Crown Valley in Laguna Niguel will have the Miuras you seek to try with the FH1000's side by side of the monitor. Call before you head down. Once you go in their, you will be fighting yourself to walk out empty handed. Naughty exotic putters and irons. Mostly all JDM.

Thanks for all the inputs. I guess I can assume that FH1000 will be more forgiving than MB-001 but most likely, MB-001 will feel more soft. I know fourteen uses 1025 irons vs Miura which uses 1020 which are softer irons (I think)
