I can't argue with "free."

After a while I have a pretty good estimate on launch and spin. General impressions and ease to hit will be my main criteria.

Even normal range balls don't compare well against a normal TPx or ProV1

Well, the Cider/Mead is actually turned out really good. The Mickey pancakes not so much. However, syrup fixes everything!

And here's where I'll crush on people a bit. How many times do you read about people who get the wrong order and all the want to do is complain about it. They post a big thread about their issue and how much this company really sucks and this sucks and that sucks. Two days later someone posts something like "Hey did you call them" and the answer is "no". Seriously folks, get a grip. A five minute call to TM, problem is rectified, new set will be sent tomorrow, should have it Tuesday.

Did give me a chance to check out the topline though with my digital calipers. The RSi seems to have a matte finish for most of the topline but not the whole thing. Doesnt bother me since I'm a shovel guy anyway but its pretty cool - it almost tricks your eye a bit.

So the topline of the 5 iron is .27" on the SLDR, / 38" on the RSi1. 7 iron is .26" / .32". So definitely larger but even in the higher irons we're talking 1/10th of an inch more. I like the club overall, good heft to it. If you're not a shovel guy though, definitely not the club for you.

Well, sadface, no new clubs at the range tomorrow.

Next time its drunk dad breakfast night just go with scrambled eggs, throw the bacon in the oven at 400 for 15-20 minutes, and some french toast.

Haha I made breakfast for dinner 2 nights ago. I was feeling really nervous as I asked my 6 year old if he wanted pancakes or waffles. I hate making waffles, cleaning the waffle iron is such a pain. The hash browns with onions and jalapeno's were the highlight imo. I almost planned it out perfect, only thing was I cooked one extra egg.

For real is their anything better than breakfast food? It's delicious no matter what time of day!

Ha ha... You know that feeling where you see a shot in your mind and then you swing? Well, that's how the round was...I would see a shot and produce.

One of the best shots besides the deuce banger was my second shot into a par 5 with a 4 iron. It was 198 on the rangefinder to a front flag but down hill and into the wind. I had a bunker to clear or I could just skirt to the left to give myself a 15 footer. Hit the perfect 4 iron to give myself a 15 footer. I was aiming for an old hole on the putt and I hit it but it moved it offline, so I just missed the eagle.

That was the entire round...if I told a putt to break it would. It was such an awesome feeling that I can see why pros enjoy the sport. I'm not comparing but to have full control of your game...amazing!


I made mistakes like some hooks but the course is pretty open, so I got away with it. Also, bad decisions like going for miracle shots instead of safe ones but best round ever.
