Yes new balls for 2015. I'm sure it'll be the same boring ball design they normally use with no new technology. Titleist rely on there name to sell balls whereas most other company's are now bringing new technology to the market that will help golfers improve. Nike's rzn core. Srixon's spin skin Bridgestone's hydro core & a new technology from Callaway in 2015 that Callaway are really excited about.

This site is about people's own view's, grammar is hardly a big issue. People use words differently in different countries & sorry for the lack of . & ,

Let me guess Titleist's new mantle layer will be made of rubber the same as it has been since 2000-2001 when they copied the Nike tour accuracy ball.

You guys are getting your shorts all wet about an announcement that was what, made over a month ago! And yes, a decent attempt at grammar and punctuation is appreciated. Not sure when it became unnecessary.

The generation before prov is considerably different than the new one, and the x is massively different.
Haters gunna hate, but each generation is better than the last, even though its name remains the same.
looking forward to the 2015 model.

I try every new top end ball that comes out (except the SR's because no one stocked them...) and surprisingly from August onwards went back to the standard V1. And I found it was still brilliant. No other top end sits down as well on hard greens. I still like TMs Tour Pref but will be loading up on V1s when they drop in price..and the fact the UK discount price for the 2015 balls is going to be over $60.

Agreed. I had the V1 test balls and they felt softer and were more durable than any previous version so I believe they made some changes for the better.

Put me on the side of the new ProV1x being a significant improvement over the current generation. I found it noticeably longer and straighter. Biggest difference however was durability, I actually came out of testing the balls and decided to halt all my non pro shop credit golf ball purchases until 2015.

I tested the new Pro V1 and had been a B330S guy for the last few years. This new Pro V1 may get me back to Titleist. Want to try the new Pro V1x when they come out to see the difference but liked the V1. Even seemed much better in the wind.

I have always liked the ProV1x and would likely play it if not for price gouging by titleist. The regular V1 however I wouldn't touch. It is way too wild off the driver for my liking, 3 piece balls just spin way too much off driver. But my game is based around finding fairways, not short game magic so I can understand whh skme guys love the regular V1. My scrambling has never been good enough to cash in on the short game advantages of a V1. I need to play to my strengths which for me is a low driver spin ball with plenty of bite on full short irons. For me that means V1x, chrome+, XV etc. In any case, if I liked 3 piece spinny balls the TM Project a is almost identical in lerformance to a V1 at half the price. I have used the project a and really like it for every part of my game except off driver. It is long but just moves a bit too much sideways compared to 4 and 5 piece balls, just like the regular V1. Quite frankly, I have a hard time believing Adam Scotts ball would be even remotely like a regular V1, he would generate way too much chs to be able to keep a 3 piece ball as straight as he drives it. I'm guessing it's a 4 piece proto with ProV1 badging.
