It's 40 degrees here in Florida this morning....

Played today in the 'Chili Open.' 40* and no sun. After the round, the club had several crockpots of chili set up. Priceless.

This thread was made on Thursday.. yeah, it was stupid cold... Friday though, we teed it up at 11.. the temp was 60 but felt like 70... I was looking for a place to peel my long johns off..

It's going to be 70 Monday and Tuesday..
I'm looking forward to getting back out there and losing some golf balls.

uhm.. I mean posting another 18 hole score in the low 50's... ... (I forgot which forum I'm on)

It's a two edged sword, cause the humidity in the summer almost balances out the year round golf luxury.

No complaints here... played yesterday and it was 43° to start. Buddies were bundled up but being from Wisconsin this is early summer weather to me! A nice knit shirt, pullover, watch cap and jeans (yes jeans) and I was good to go. Around 9:30 I pulled of the pullover and watch cap. Love this weather.

Hahaha.. Stupid tropical storms.. rain coming down sideways in dump truck sized buckets... When it's so wet, you can chip from the fringe and find your ball plugged on the green.

Lol. I forget many don't understand Florida rain. It doesn't rain here like "oh, it's gonna be a wet one today". Generally when it rains here, it's get out your ark and head for high ground....for about 30 minutes. Then float around in your ark for the rest of the day until the tide goes out.

My buddies and I trying to brave the elements.. I had already hit my tee shot and jumped back in the cart.. We played about 3 holes in this... The rules became cart path only and we had to stop.. We lost tee shots - they were probably underwater or plugged.. We had the course to ourselves and it was a fun day...

Oh yeah, even though it's Florida, the rain was FREEZING!

41 degrees this morning. Polo and a light jacket. All ready to walk a quick 9. Frost delay until 8:30. I'm not sitting around for an hour and a half. So I went in to work without my golf. Ouch.

Former motorcycle rider here, I thought you might be from the UK (Fireblade), but I guess not. I remember lusting after the CBR900RR in 93, although I was confused by the 16 inch front hoop choice by Honda.

Walked 18 today. Best weather I can remember on 23 DEC (for golf)....was 64, a little overcast, light breeze. It was really outstanding. Now the cold front is rolling through (rain....headed for snow in next 36 hours). Offer all of that, to offer this.... a great golf weather day in the winter is something to be appreciated!

It's warm, uncomfortably humid, and it's been raining for 4 days!!! I want out of this house!!! I must have put in 20-30 hours into playing COD and The Golf Club. NO MORE VIDEO GAMES!!!!

More rain tomorrow and we finally start clearing out. Day after Christmas, it's on. Get to use my new golf related Christmas items and put in the first round into my fresh Icons. The old are retiring.
