Fairway wood for 2015

I did too, just had difficulty hitting it high and shots out of moderate rough were more difficult than I felt it should be with a fairway. Can find some fairways with it though!

I did the Diamana D+ 82 gram X-Flex. I'm sure that didn't help my height issues with the club. Looking back I wonder what a Tour AD-DI would have done. Considering I hit the X2 Hot 15 yards farther I doubt the shaft difference will make the F.d surpass the X2 Hot for me, and not worth $150 to find out. I got the X2 Hot in a Aldila Tour Green 75X and love the trajectory in it though. I would've probably gotten a 915 F if it wasn't for them making the head bigger, and I'm kinda turned off to the F.d line now.

I play my 913fd with a ad di 8x and this club has been a game changer for me. It replaced my rbz stage 2 tour with kaili 80x. It was longer and straighter which is pretty amazing because the stage 2 was a great club. I've heard great things about the xhot 2!

Yes the RBZ line was very long! It was what I was gonna get but then I stumbled across an X2 Hot on eBay for cheap and decided to give it a try knowing I could resell it and not lose anything. They are basically the identical club, but the X2 Hot is just slightly more versatile. The head is a bit heavier feeling than the RBZ which I like. I also like how it's not half an inch longer like the RBZ giving basically a false sense of distance. I believe the X2 Hot head itself is up there with the best. Worth a shot if you have a few spare bucks.

Yeah I tried one once but it didn't have the right shaft for me. Would love to try one with a ad di or blue board. But it would be pretty tough to beat the consistency of the 913fd!

Guys, which X2 Hot are you talking about? X2 Hot vs. X2 Hot Deep vs. X2 Hot Pro?

I'm a big fan of the Callaway Hot X2 5Deep. Easy off the deck or the tee. I get great distance on it using the stock shaft--it's longer than any 3 or 4 wood I've tried, including the Hot X2. I'm a hacker, 13-14 handicap, 62, 90-93 driver swing speed. Don't expect to moving that stick out of the bag this year.

The pro model is what I hit. It has such a great look at address. I think it would have a chance against my trusty 913fd if it was paired with a ad di or blueboard. My 2 favorite shafts of all time.

Mine is the X2 Hot Pro. Long, accurate, and versatile without a super tiny head. Only thing I would change is I wish it had a chevron on top.
