I really enjoyed the Toura's, I just couldn't justify 2 sets of blades. But a set with my own logo for $230 was just too good to say no to. 

 

<edit> looking at the picture of the silver heads, the 4 and 5 look like pretty minimal offset. 

@ $230 you're not wrong. Makes you think that the markup on gold equipment is worse than alcohol at an event. Did you ever have a photo of your Touras with the ball framed up?

I think this is the 7 iron, but I'm not 100%.

Well, that's certainly not nearly the offset the KCM moulds have. That is a very standard amount of offset. Thank you sir.

‘’I like “No debating clubheads” etched on them 😂.  We can start the NDC golf blades only equipment company and just get catalog heads from Ali baba to boutique jdm catalog heads for our blades only lineup across all price ranges.  I’m sure there are like 6 solid catalog heads to get😂

That's the D1 cheapy 2 piece, but they are shiny.

Whoa now. I'm a cheap 2 piece kind of guy. I'll spring for the $140/round course's,  but deep inside my golf bag is a child assembled $0.37 2 piece golf ball sold at a premium price.

Here's the lefty offset of the new ones they just sent me. They are crazy responsive. It's very similar to the Toura.

Similar face progression as most Miuras. At least it's pretty constant. I'm still baffled as to why the japanese prefer more offset in their short irons than their long irons. Have some Jbeam 801's that I would game all the time if it weren't for that linear reverse offset.

I prefer things with minimal progression too and of any type. But the Maruman’s  have 4 mm offset on GW & SW, rest are 2 mm. Honestly don’t mind it, seems the theory might be it sets shaft with more lean at setup. More lean in score clubs, not terrible idea,  but you don’t need it in the build either, so who knows why they embrace it.

Played 3 rounds and my game is a**, but really don’t care. Milestone hit this week is I can lift arm over shoulder, been 11 months.

 

I did the hybrid experiment and I’m underwhelmed with it. Benching that, 962B 2I is going in. Benching R7 425 till I find proper weights, club I bought has daft weight setup so MP 650 is back till then. 
 

Got a Nikon Pro Shot for Xmas last year, real benefit is dialing in 85 to 125 approach shots and getting read on hazards. Find real value in use of it in those situations. 
 

Going to build an indoor setup this winter at my shop. The mat will sit on a 6” deep base filled with dirt/sand compact and it all rests on neoprene blocks. Have 12 ‘ ceilings can put up a good sized net too. If I ever feel rich , a screen and LM can be an upgrade, but go pro setup  and mirrors might be plenty for now. Cheers.

Right? The PT is a pain royale, funny i make the most progress after i play golf. 10 days ago could not lift arm under own power above pecs. Played 18 a few days later, then go PT, arm shoots up, lol. At 4 months, that's when things start clicking but I have at least another 4, just to tighten and strengthen. Hitting the gym, hitting balls too. Have a ways to go but thrilled i can lift arm.

I'm so glad this thread is still going, I've been playing such rubbish golf at the moment so I'm diving back into golfwrx to find some inspiration... maybe I just need to change all my clubs 😂

That is always the answer…. Meanwhile I have blown up my summer stats with a couple of 83/85 rounds no birdies and this hurricane is about to ruin the 8 days I have remaining….i have to do the summer club thing, this summer was much more enjoyable with that and I got in 2.5 rounds a week which isn’t bad for full time job and kids things.  My wife did catch on to me being able to get home early to play golf but for nothing else though…. I’m going to need to just leave a set at my office next summer.

I picked these up at an estate sale.  They are mint  Looks like the PW and 5i are the only ones that they hit.  I have been looking for a nice set of these for a while to add to my collection.

I missed out on a 2 iron, in similar condition, on ebay recently.  It sold for almost half the price I bought the set for.

Big thumbs up on Tour B X ball. I always play pro V's but always disliked lack of kick on approaches. The XS model was really the same deal but newer X has less spin for the kick I'm looking for, which is 4-5 feet post landing. Nice ball for blades.

 

Thumbs up on carrying #2i again, for my course it has use, 962B is a very likable head, put ball within 10 feet from 210 out, need to finish build on the full set I have.

 

Bought a #5 DF Paradym triple D today, bonded hosel, woo hoo, may replace #3W, long end of bag is unsettled but two metals is hard limit for now. I'm partial to bonded, don't know if that's explainable, they just feel better.
