@MizfanboyMP18 here is what you are looking at there for 3-pw

reality is add $90 or so on that.   I have no idea about tariffs and shipping now but I’m going to find out soon….

Tariffs are still being omitted. I bought a GD AD shaft from buyee and it delivered today. Paid $68 to ship it from Japan to LA. Almost as much as I paid for the shaft. Shipping prices have gone up tremendously.

Fantastic, I haven’t had a putter or anything really catch my eye in a while and was going to test waters with a lower purchase.   Perfect because I think I am trying that callaway mini driver and I can get it cheaper over there by $90 and pick up the AD shaft I live in my 3 wood for $40 while I’m at it.

You should be fine. When I got home I had a good laugh when I had seen the box they shipped it in. I think the box was originally for a whole set of clubs or a cart bag. I really think the box was 12x12x52 for a single driver shaft. As always, they did a phenomenal job packing it. So be prepared when you buy that mini driver, they'll probably send it in a cardboard coffin.

@Kingcat990 I know, the boxing is always, not a concern other than costs lol.

I just hate how expensive these things are, like $400 by the time it’s at my door for a used mini driver off eBay, GTFO man.

So I am probably getting it from Japan which is stupid for this, but I can at least get head only for under $300 and go from there.   Even if I only save $50 by the time it’s done, it will have a much better shaft and be cheaper so I guess that is that….the problem is there is a golds factory putter, a couple of shafts I want to try and some artisan wedges currently up I would love to parlay with with the shipping.  Then $300 turns into $1000 and I just don’t care that much, especially on the verge of likely economic hardship…..

I'm stuck on the persimmon driver and woods. Absolutely love them. Thought I'd throw up a few pics of the Mac PMB's I bought. I took the 4 iron out but I think it's going back in. I hit as many quality shots with that as any club in the bag. Iron pic is the 5 iron.

So, I really like my MP-4s. I've had 3 sets over the last 12 years. I sold the previous two sets mainly because the shafts no longer suited me after some back issues landed me in hospital (they were X100 and Modus 125X shafts).

My current MP-4s have ATTAS carbon 115X shafts. They are stiff, but so much easier on joints and not an effort to swing. I have no complaints with them.

I recently bought another set of MP-4s (5-PW), because now that I can practise off grass, my irons are showing signs of wear. Although they still have lots of life in them, I thought I'd get another set in good condition at a decent price while I still can.

The new set has DG S200 shafts, and they're on the short side for me. I am thinking of splashing out and getting the same ATTAS 115X shafts in these as well.

My question is, what other heavy-ish and stiff-ish carbon shafts are out there for me to try?

I'd browse the Club Techs section. Tons of discussion on 110-120g graphite options. Recoil Prototype and now Dart V are my preferred options, but there are a lot of others to choose from in that weight range with varying profiles and flexes and you can read detailed feedback on all of them.

Enjoying the Nike's but will say hitting out of deep rough, they are tougher than either Maruman's or T's. Have had decent pokes across set, great ball flight, perfect trajectory & they track well.

My game has been circling the drain for last 5 rounds, only have had one decent nine (40), a barrage of doubles & triples involved elsewhere. But much of it is due to a right arm, have habituated a loss of depth & width over last 5 years due to tears in shoulder. Rehab of that is working but needs more time.

Paradym #5W T, wonderful. The R7 425 is doing well too and i'm not even up to full steam on throttling either. Can expect 250y on good #5W & same on poor drive. Seems to me, new tech Ti is about 10-12 yards better than old stuff. Going to go with minus 1" and heavier shafts on #3W & S head on their build. Play with a fitter, so will see him on shaft pick but likely it's Fujikoro For whatever reason every shaft of theirs  has worked really well for me. Cheers.

FWIW, I've still been buying iron head sets from multiple Japanese ebay vendors, and nothing has changed.  Meaning, still free shipping, zero issues with tariffs or customs.  I have a set of Tourstage 701G irons and Yamaha XV Fourged Tour Models heads arriving tomorrow, and I don't think pricing changed at all from what I would have paid 3-4 months ago.  Roughly $130 shipped for each set.

At least for iron heads, they are in a 2"x6"x6" box, and almost always come via Japan Post that gets handed off to DHL.

Speaking of ebay vendors, I got a letter from FedEx last Friday for duty tax on the Miuras I bought from Japan. Unpleasant surprise. Most of the stuff I buy falls below the $1000 mark. Stupid guvvvment and their pesky taxes.

Pleasant surprise today after playing the Cobra Rickies MBs for a few rounds. Had a scramble to play and pulled the gamer setup 923 forgeds.  Got on the course and I'm stone crushing these clubs.  Like 10-15 yards longer than usual.  Only thing I can figure is the Cobras are forcing me to deeply concentrate on striking the ball perfectly. Whatever it is, I'm simply amazed at hitting 7 irons 180+ yards, high and hot. 🤯 Normal was 165 on a regular basis. Flew a 175 yard par 3 with a smooth 6 iron into the wind.  Crazy!

Went 38/44, a bird, a triple & a double. Footage on putts was pretty high. 3 bladed pitch shots caused blowups. Did not even hit irons all that pure, just kept swing path in check. So relieved to play more inline with capabilities, plenty to improve on but swing feels whole again.

Yeah, they are nice, the 6 series from them are real good. Big fan of 681 / T series, myself. Not sure how these differ. Offset, forge house? Weight? They are pricey, so that brings into play, "what else can i buy?" I'm a fan of how they set up their clubs, and these are geared to legacy Titleist lovers, but i already have T stamps, so i'm good. If someone not familiar with them was considering these, why not buy an original 680 single iron and test it out first.

To be clear, Titleist has just re-issued the 680's on an extremely limited basis.  When Adam Scott worked with Miura on the blades above, he was largely desiring to recreate his beloved 680's.  Well, here they are.  Brand spanking new and 100% exact duplicates of the original 680's.   This is a very unique opportunity.  Good luck folks!

Roddio i10 and you are in the place to grab a used set of pulls.   I game the i8 in my wedges and I don’t know how that works for accuracy and distance control for somone who can hit thier 52* 120, but it does and they are really good.

Outside of that, I don’t know.   I don’t love the crazy black shafts I put my small blades in, I’m probably going to do a makeover of irons I like and modus 105 all of them and be done with it.

That’s pretty, like I don’t care for titleist blades like some do from my

limited experience but that’s really pretty.   Are they Miura forged?

Appears they were most likely forged by Endo Thailand.  Might be a release of remaining 2018 stock.

My only Titleist irons are 690 MB & CB sets.  Generally I prefer Miura & Mizuno forgings.  But the 680's & 681's remain very special.

Same here. I returned to the blades world recently. Previously had the MP 68s. The 241s are awesome. Nice to see Mizuno making lefty blades again.

Only wish they made the 3 iron lefty. But I still have my mp68s so I put the 3 iron back in my bag.

That’s awesome, did you keep the x7’s?

I’ve always said that if you have a decent swing and decent speed, blades aren’t that much more harder to hit that cbs.

Gave them back to my son along with a set of mint Epon AF-302 heads in exchange for the Cobra RFs. They’re way too stiff for my 100 mph swing. 😂
