I just picked up the 3 dhy this weekend at the Philly golf show. But since it's currently 8* with snow on the ground in central PA, I have not gotten to give it a whirl. I too would be interested in hearing if others are still using these and what their feedback is.

They are awesome. Love my 21*

I had the same one with a c taper shaft last year but have gone to graphite to fill the gap a little better this year. I'm also in central pa and it doesn't look good for golf anytime soon :(

No.....no it doesn't.

I got a 16* 21* and 27* (needs a shaft). Don't plan on ditching these anytime soon. Haven't had a chance to hit the 16* yet. Threw a hm3 105 in it for days when it's windy or if the course is dry to hit 200 yard stingers that will run out 50 more yards.

I have a 21 with a proto UST shaft. Hate it. Every time I think it can be a 3-iron, it gives me infamous results. Ok off tee, unhittable off fairway for me.

Might make it my fireplace poker.

Go ahead and ship it to me, for $10 I can probably find a use for it.

I've got the 24...I also have a 712U in the same loft so it'll be a showdown once the temps get above 45. I'm hoping the DHY wins but we'll see! If not then I may look for a pro mini.

I just got a 21* and 24* and I'm totally in love with them. At first I felt strange not having a 3 & 4 iron in the bag, but then I hit these things and I don't miss the irons at all.

I am trying out the 3 and 4 hybrids this season. Anybody still using them this year?
I have a 19 degree DHY that I really liked as a long iron replacement. It wasn't that great for digging balls out of the rough though. I swtiched to a Callaway Hot2 Pro because it handles the deeper rough better.

Absolutely love my 21*. Has a PX HD2 6.0 shaft, and has been very consistent for me off the tee. I don't hit it as much off the deck, maybe as a layup club on some looong par 5's, but it's not bad from there. It's currently my favorite club to hit.

I played a 21* all last season. Great 3 iron / hybrid replacement. Loved it off the tee. Going to test it against a normal hybrid next year for holding more greens on approaches. It fit the gap I was looking for but I was inconsistent launching it high enough to stop on greens from the deck.

Thanks for the replies. I did use the 21 last year and loved it - just got the 24 to replace my 4 iron. With the snow, no avenue to try anything out. I love the fact that these require "iron swings" and only need one swing before transitioning to my tee clubs - 17 Hybrid or 4 wood and Driver.
I asked the question because I don't see anybody else on the courses I play using them and for the price that they sell for on Ebay, they are a ridiculous steal.

How's the "stinger" with these? I have a couple short narrow par 4s that I'm guessing something to pierce down the fairway about 225 would be perfect.
Wish I was good enough to hit the stinger consistently but works great when I pull it off. Unlike what others have stated, I can get the ball pretty high and with a shallow swing.

I have an 18 w/ White Tie... Really love this club. It's the only hybrid I'll carry. I just don't care for hybrids.

I can flight it down to 180 or up to 225ish. Great off the tee, fwy, or tight lies. Also find it forgiving, but still workable left and right.

Not really a club for the second cut of rough, though. It's not a rescue hybrid.

I plan on picking up another head and trying a steel shaft.

Definitely worth a try if you like long irons and are looking to fill a gap between a 4 or 5 iron and a 4 or 5 wood -- and have an aversion to hook faced hybrids.

Not too expensive either, seem to be out there around $100ish.

Good luck!

 This is just priceless, I don't care what planet your from...

That's the thing with these, they either fit or they don't. Very polarizing clubs. I can tell you for certain; if you don't get along well with long irons, you're probably not going to enjoy these very much. Try it before you buy it!

I have the Pro Dhy 18*. I have gamed the Dhy 21* in the past also. They are amazing sticks. They allow me to hit down like a true iron with the benefits of being a hybrid. I am a low ball hitter by nature but have no problem getting these higher in the air. I recommend these to all the high school kids I coach.

I tried a 19* last season for just such occasions, and found that I couldn't hit it the way I wanted to, and had trouble keeping it down. I've swapped over to a Rapture DI at 18*, and I find that I can hit that low 180-190 yarder with another 30 yards of roll that I'm looking for. I like the rapture off the tee a little better too.

I have the 19* with a 100g VTS Black shaft in it and It swaps in and out of my bag. I only really use it off the tee unless I am going for a par five in two and I can roll it up there a little bit. Off the tee, I can hit it high if I need to but I almost exclusively stick to the stinger and this thing kills the ball. I play a little 5 yard draw with it carrying 215 and running out a ton.

Highly recommend if you are comfortable hitting down on hybrids not sweeping.

I recently put the 18* Adams Pro DHy in the bag in place of the 5 wood. Hated it, S shaft not stiff enough. Had it tipped half an inch, love it now as tipping made the shaft play stiffer. Best of tee & tight lies, won't try it out of the semi. Got to hit down on it like a long iron. Best club to keep under the wind off tee or fairway. Feel for you guys that can't play because of the weather. Where I hail from (George, home of Fancourt where presidents cup was played a few years back, South Africa) we play golf all year long. Winters between 65 & 80, summers between 70 & 85

I really wanted to love the DHY and tried them several times in different lofts. I'm a pretty good long iron player so I thought they would be perfect. The 9031 Proto just worked better for me.

I have the DHY hybrids in 21* and 24* with the stock white Matrix Ozik shaft in regular flex. It took a few range sessions and about 2 rounds for me to get a feeling for them. At first test, I felt that the heads represented the oil to my swing's water. HOWEVER, after a bit of practice, both clubs are solid backups to my Cleveland Classic hybrids (which are much more forgiving IMHO).

I love golf

I picked up a 21 degree a few weeks ago. I am going to put in head-to-head with another recent purchase - 2015 Tight Lies 17 degree - and see how it goes once the weather warms a bit. I foresee it mostly being a gapping/specialty club for me, but we'll see. I am looking for some consistency in my hybrid game, which I haven't had for a few seasons.
