NJ Golf Courses Opening Soon? Need something to look forward to!!!

I know we still have snow on the ground here but i need something to look forward to! I know we are getting 50+ degree temps next week and was wondering which courses will be opening soon.

 

NJ Golfers: Please post any opening dates or courses with no snow.

 

I know of one, Old Orchard will be open this weekend. Or at least they have been taking tee times... Not sure what the course conditions are like.

Not in central jersey (trenton area) we received a foot of snow yesterday

i'm in hackettstown - we recieved quite a bit (i'd guess in the 8" amounts) but i think this weekend and the start of next week will burn a lot of it off. i'd like to think the southern part of the state will melt faster than up here. i'm hoping a few places in northern delaware open too...

Sorry brother, but none of us are going to be golfing in the area until mid/late March at best. Unless you want to be paying to hit off snow and ice. We need a solid week of temps in the 50s and no lows below freezing at night to get this junk melted quickly. Rain would obviously help things along.

Seems like we are in luck as weather forecasts show 10-14 days of over 40 to 50 degree temps!!!

Anyone down south by AC that can give an update? I was thinking the seaview bay course usually opens early....

I got a fb notification that ACCC, Scotland Run GC and Ballamore GC are all open for play.
Deerwood Country Club in Westampton NJ said they were going to "try" to open this weekend. (small. short course)
Fountain Green Golf Course inside Fort Dix is open today for 9 holes only. I actually hit some balls at the range after work yesterday. There was only one flag set up at the range with no yardage but it was good to be out there.

This is not NJ but fyi- Westpoint Academy golf is targeting 1 Apr for opening date. If anyone played there before, they are renovating the club house so the Ski Lodge will take care of the operations for the time being.

haha, yea, I'm dying to get it outside to get a real life idea of it's ball flight and noise. There's only so much you can do on a Flightscope...

Yea, I figured it would be. We still have snow/ice covered spots at the club. I think our pro and manager have been getting bombarded with calls and emails about when the course would be open, so our head groundskeeper sent out pictures of our back 9 that is still under about 2.5" of snow or ice. I really hope the greens are ok...

Even if it's open, it would be unplayable with all of the snow melting with temps in the mid/high 50s.

I know courses in southern Jersey and Delaware are mostly open though.
