Thats a hard thing to do these days. Lots of tough situations happening. Still a faithful and love my boys though!

Closed the last thread just as I was getting to how trrrrrbble my driver swing has been. Shortening up the swing has been really beneficial with the irons - driver not so much. Needs work.

But 10 days till we leave for Pinehurst, so, lots of time.

The Club Ho is building inside... I'm really tempted to ditch the AP2's and grab either MP-15's or MP54's with KBS Tour C-Taper Lites. Also still trying to figure out what wedges I should go for since my Scratch duo are basically out of competition.

[/quote]It's one of those things that makes you realize the role of timing in a golf swing.

To achieve a similar end, I've been trying to slow my back swing down a little.

The goal of either -- for me -- is just to avoid general end-of-backswing sloppiness. it's that last bit that shifts my hips a little, or moves my head. The days when I feel like I'm hitting the ball the best are when I feel the backswing is really short. I just need to find a way to do it subconsciously. When I focus on it, I'm dead.

Also. It's so early in the year. I've already got a good 39 in, so I'm not fretting about my issues, yet.

It's March 10 and it's been a miserable winter for getting out and actually playing golf. So if you don't completely suck right now, you are probably in better shape than most people.

Golf is happening this weekend. Moving Saturday, but will be ready for Sunday.

Shortening the swing has been great. I went from full Daly to just Mickelson last year.

It's usually a path issue that gets out of whack, but the consistency improvements are nuts. The driver is always squirrelly, but my iron play was the best it had ever been last season.

So I went in looking for a Bio Cell Pro, but sounds like many box stores don't have them and some never got them.

So I hit the + and was getting some pretty good numbers. Avg 17 launch and 2200 spin for 287 avg. That was with the stiff Matrix shaft. My miss is a draw that turns into a hook and of course when in the launch bay and swinging away, it snuck up a few times.

I came back the next day to buy the club and they had a x-stiff matrix in one of the clubs on the rack. I hit that and the launch went to 16 and spin stayed at 2200, but distance went to 295 and i could release that bad boy and it would not turn into a hook.

Don't know the last time I was this excited to get a club out onto the course.

I have the BC+, orange of course. Just got the Speeder 757 and tip installed. Hit it about 5 times into the neighboring field Sunday, and have no idea about it. Hoping it's in the bag for the next few seasons.
