It looks like he is in an Irish Kilt (they wear them too). Irish Kilt's are worn for regions usually rather than families, and this appears to be the County Down tartan - but I am not an expert. Also the photo looks to be colour corrected so the tartan could be off.

I love the gratuitous shot of his Omega watch.

It always cracks me up when I see commercials or photo shoots of these pros while wearing their oversized watches. I totally understand plugging your sponsors but no one in their right mind believes these guys wear those while they play. Another great example was Billy Horshel in a recent GD article.

I have those EXACT abs.


They're just covered up by a bunch of fat.

Is this GD's answer to the swim suit issue but marketing towards women? I just don't see too many guys I play with going "I think I'll pass on this month's issue" then be all "Whoa ho! I spoke to soon!" upon seeing the cover.

The shame of it all is that what could be an interesting read is just sort of spoiled by Rordonis here.

It doesn't even matter that the McIlroy name is part of the MacGililvray clan.....it's tartan is predominantly red.. And of course, it is Scottish, not Irish.
