Which driver have you always had a soft spot for

I love my encore and i can't see it leaving the bag anytime soon but I certainly am like Mitchell and a couple of others and have a soft spot for the 983e. Just a great looker and performer. All business. I liked the k too but the taller face and more open face angle of the e worked better for me.

I had good success with the r7 superquad. In high school I hit 5-wood off the tee 90% of the time, and carried a 2-wood which I rarely played.

superquad was the first driver I felt confident with and had good results.

For some reason I cant kick my r1 v3 out of the bag! And its not like I haven't tried! Just hasn't happened. It gives me great distance, and great forgiveness! What else could I ask for! I would like to find a black v3 model head, as I am kinda partial to the traditional look. But until then, I'm stuck.

Also a soft spot for the FT-5 Tour. Used one for years. Such a great club.

Bridgestone J's Professional Weapon 10.5 loft. It was awesome with a wound ball. And of course the Taylormade 300 tour version 2 with a urethane ball. I got distance bump with the holy grail that was unreal.

Always found the fairway with the original Bobby Jones by Jessie Ortiz. Too much spin with the stock Graphite Design shaft, so parted ways with it, but that thing was automatic. Might try to stick a new shaft in it and see how that goes.

Titleist 913 D3... I have had 2 of these... currently I game a Callaway Alpha... but the 913 may have been the best driver I have ever owned. Not the longest however it was the most accurate by far.
