Domes, next time you play EPP gimme a holler. I haven't been out to play once this season so far, so I'm jonesing pretty hard. Though there's an AU tourney against UMD this weekend I think, so I might be doing that.

I don't know what this band is you're talking about, since there's no way I'm going through the entirety of MD/VA/DC Golfers Season 9, but just let me know when the concert it

It's possible that I wasn't swinging particularly well, and that's why the driver didn't work out for me, but I find it much more likely that it's just a terrible club and no one should use it. I switched back to the BC, then sold it and picked up an i25 and an anser, sold the i25, swapped shafts on the anser, and I think I'm pretty good now...probably

Are the pants made for golf worth the price? I've been looking at them since I saw and felt a few at Golf Galaxy a few nights ago, just not sure I want to fork over $100 plus for another pair of pants when I've got plenty of slacks and dockers in the closet. lol

I think I did see some Ashworth ones for about $50 online somewhere.

They are nice, just not $100 nice.


You can find plenty of nice pants for <$50. Budget Golf, Golfetail, Global Golf, Rock Bottom Golf, etc. usually have decent deals.

Find some Adidas. They are worth getting, if you can find them under $50. At $100, no, but for $30 or $40 YES.

I haven't paid more than $40 for any pair of pants since those stupid huge jeans in high school. Adidas are great for tall guys, and always on sale. The dockers golf specific pants ($40 on amazon) are pretty good too.

I've got Adidas Climacool and Nike Dri-Fit Pants. Great in hot weather, and I play a lot of marshy areas here on the Shore so I like to at least attempt to keep the ticks off of me.

Round report :

Going to lack some detail. Had a match at Northwest yesterday. Me and PQuarta vs. Eagle and Tex.

Tipped it out at 7375 (74.9/131). I think there are at least 3 holes there that are about 230 carry to the FW. One 3-shotter at 583. Several 2-bangers at 460+.

Halved the first with pars from eagle and me, then Tex made a great putt for par on the second with a stroke to win the hole. Then, they didn't win any other holes. .

I think the only birdie was PQ on a putt on the par 5 7th which would have run about 12 feet past the hole if it didn't hit it dead center. He had a similar putt on 13 that jammed the back of the cup and stopped about 6 inches.

I hit 9/14 FW's and 10/18 greens, both of which I was VERY HAPPY with.

Unfortunately, I had 38 putts. ONE up & down -- on the 3rd. I've had 2 straight rounds of good ball striking without a birdie. Greens were punched, but they were rolling foine.

I parred both par 5's on the back, but on the front I bogeyed one with a 9-iron in my hand (3-putt) and one from 70 yards out (chunk). 3rd bogey I've made on a 5-par in the last 2 rounds from inside 100. VERY HUGE HOLE in my game. I'm +3 on those 3 holes, and I should be -1 to E as far as I'm concerned.

Beauty day. Still don't love the course. The greens are pretty interesting though. I tried to give myself better leaves yesterday than the first day I played it and it didn't really help. The pins were in the same "thirds" as the first day I played it.

He forgot to mention after the "chunk" that he ran back and attempted the shot again. This time he hits the slope and rolls right in. Me and Eagle were like "It went in"

City: Of course it did! (This mo fo)

It was a fun round but sh*tty one for golf for me (too many wtf swings and chips) City, Eagle, and PQ are very consistent and it was nice to see players like that.

PQ is on another level. The sound his ball makes, his distance but still has a great touch around the greens with wedges and putters. I can see why City has a bromance going. His clown tats are actually cool (tats can't hurt you )

City has great distance and control with all of his clubs. Can't see him not dropping his handicap this year.

Eagle had a crappy honorary brown partner in me but he held his own vs the dynamic duo. It was good to see him take on the left with his bio cell plus and he was stripping it.

What I learned from playing with
these guys: I have no business being on the tips. The driver distance might be there but having a 3 wood on a lot holes for my second is not my idea of golfing. I lack consistent swings...well I lied. I can hit if off the toe almost every time and putt past most holes .

Had fun and Eagle's cart is not that bad but his pink scorecard holder...
