Just got off the phone with Srixon customer service. They said take it to a retailer and have them send it in. They will reattach it for me.

I'll be out of a pw for 2 weeks which stinks but it could be worse I guess.

Looks like the situation is handled but I would like to point out that I would definitely hesitate before performing your own glueing here.

Depending on what epoxy you are using, some types can add some significant amount of weight and you are adding weight higher on the face which is against what all the club manufacturers are doing. Also the piece looks like it was glued just on the edges. Lots could go wrong here.

No updates. I don't think I want to send them back mid season. They would be gone 3 weeks and I can't wait that long. I just put a bit of lead tape on it to get the swing weight back up.

The white film areas covering the z545 logo and other white area's in the pockets have worn / rubbed off.. two round on these, and one post round bath in my utility sink with a fabric bristle brush.

Normal iron (my AW):

Hm....man that blows...I have the 545 4 iron and havent had an issue yet *knock on wood*.....Was there any solvent used in your sink that made it come off like that...? or just water.....?

They should have stamped or etched Z545 into the cavity (like J38 or J40 lines did) instead of using badges. Badges look cheap

No solvent used.. just a little Dawn dish soap and some hot water. Not so hot that I couldn't keep my hands in it. I first noticed it when I was cloth towel drying them off and the white decal pieces were on the towel. I have since had the heads pulled. Srixon didn't seem to care about my sending them just the heads, which they paid for.

Did you tell them you were hitting tee shot on 135 par 3 when it happened? If so, any reaction?

Almost all cavity backs have a sticker insert in them these days (ie mizuno jpx forged). I don't personally like the busy look. I really think they'd look better with just plain chrome or brushed steel. Maybe you should remove all the inserts - might be an improvement.

I'll ask the OP to weigh his and post it.. mine are still on mine, just that white film has rubbed off.. and mine are in route to Srixon / Cleveland Golf for evaluation already..

For those that were asking. It weighs about 1 ounce/ 3-4 grams. I measured it on a food scale because that's all I have. It's pretty accurate but not perfect.

how can i get these badges out? i have to reduce swing weight by 3 points. could be a good start. did anybody also notice that the 545 heads feel very heavy?

Agreed, my miz 850 forged and callaway apex pro have badges which
are attached, but lack the cleaner and apparently less problematic look
of a single piece club like my MP64's.
